Alam Jon Daryo has lived a very adventurous life, traveling through the Pamir Mountains. He has worked as a tour guide, assisting many explorers, writers, and photographers. Daryo also writes poetry in the Wakhi language. Now, he runs a guesthouse called Pamir Sarai in Zoodkhon. In this interview, he speaks about his life experiences and explorations.

Doulat Karim is a hard working carpenter from Gulmit in Gojal Hunza. He’s an artist and sculptor who carves delicate designs into wood and makes breathtaking wooden sculptures. He earns a living by selling his sculptures to tourists visiting Hunza. In this interview, he talks about his experiences, encouraging new wood workers to learn the craft.
