Alla centrale di polizia di Homs, uomini e donne al servizio del regime di Bashar Al Assad vengono identificati e consegnano le armi agli uomini di Hayat Tahrir Al Sham.

Dopo la caduta del regime di Bashar Al Assad siamo stati in varie prigioni dove erano detenuti molti dei suoi oppositori, molti innocenti rinchiusi per futili motivi solo perché non erano dalla parte del regime.
La cosa più inquietante è stata rendersi conto della facilità con cui le persone venivano fatte sparire, quella più frustrante l’impunità con cui agivano.
Nel buio, con gli insetti, i topi, pochi stracci con cui coprirsi e qualche coperta per ripararsi dall’umidità e dal freddo mordente.
Per quelle poche ore che sono stato lì tutto era insopportabile, l’odore penetrante di urina, di muffa, di marcio. Molto spesso in quei corridoi angusti si sentiva chiaro l’odore della morte.
Un ex detenuto mi ha raccontato che quando qualcuno moriva nella cella, nessuno veniva a prenderlo per almeno un paio di giorni e lo spazio era talmente poco che il suo corpo veniva usato come cuscino.

Amos Azaria is a Yashiva professor that believes in the recolonization of Gaza Strip.
He also wrote a book for children “Alon and the Lebanon” with the purpose of educating children to colonize the south of Lebanon because their god told them that is their land as well.
He also think that if during the second intifada, the Palestinian children would have been killed, would not have been the 7 October attack…

Tamar Metzegev, 78 yo was released after 53 days of captivity inside Gaza Strip. She was kidnapped with her husband during the attack of 7 October perpetrated by Hamas fighters.
Her husband lost his life.

2. - 3.
Aviva Siegel was kidnapped with her husband as well but only her was released.
The last time she saw him alive was in April from a video recorded by Hamas.
