Easier said than done right?

This advice isn’t something that can just be slapped on and…. “Presto! You’re cured!”

It’s a place you arrive in the journey and I wish everyone working through their trauma… Peace. Peace in their hearts and peace in their minds.
It wasn’t my fault and it wasn’t yours.
I know the journey all too well and I see you hurting, I see you surviving, I see you trying. ❤️

Does this feel familiar?

I always thought I felt the way I did because of how I had been treated… that was valid. But what was worse? How unkind I became to myself? Inadvertently denying myself of any opportunity to heal? Giving my kids the worst version of myself? Letting my past steal all the joy my future had to offer?
The list is endless.

It’s been a process but I’m now starting to feel and see the benefits of being kind to myself. Being patient with myself. Prioritising myself like everyone else in our family. I’m starting to see myself in lights I’d never thought possible and it feels so good to give my better self to my family.

It all started with kindness… a commitment to be kinder to myself and this is just the beginning…. ❤️❤️❤️

Be kind to yourself. Nothing bad can come from it. I promise it will help.

I am feeling so blessed today. MOSTLY because of the amazing women I’m connecting with because of this weird little Instathang I’m doing. I have struggled for a long time blocking out my empath tendencies to shield myself from the cruel world but… lately, I find myself basking in others strength and success. I am absolutely loving this little community I’m building and have felt nothing but love since I started sharing things that have been really hard for me. For those struggling, I’m here… I GET IT and I see you. And for those on the flip side, thanks for sharing and let me cheer you on from the sideline! ❤️

Sometimes it is the best therapy…..

Yesterday, my bestie text me…. Wanna go out for breakfast? And somehow the stars aligned and we got a solid 3.5 hours together. No rush, no pressure… just super chill catch up time.

We don’t see each other as much as we should. When you have kids & work, living just 20 mins away from each other may as well be in another state or country!
