Australians may get the chance to catch a spectacular aurora if they turn their heads skywards tonight.

A rare geomagnetic storm has been forecast by meteorologists, set to be strongest and most visible on Tuesday evening.

The storm will be most visible across south-east Australia, with people in southern Victoria and Tasmania having the best chance at seeing the rare weather event if conditions are right.

Residents across southern parts of South Australia and Western Australia are also in with a chance at seeing the colourful splendour.

My final bit of net rashing... The creating characters and first page workshop this Sunday...Bookings close tomorrow. (I am preparing the handouts). I write under various names (depends on the genre), but for 25 years I have published under the name of Astrid Cooper...sadly I lost all my media platforms, so I can't direct you to a website (new one is under construction), but I can supply publishing credits if you PM me. Have a good day everyone.
