Father, thank you for using even the hard things in our lives to bless others. When we hurt, it’s really difficult to see anything beyond our own pain. But over time, when we look back and see how our experience was really a way to bless others, we are thankful.

Father, please help us whenever we experience loss. The loss of someone we care about causes us all kinds of pain and despair, even sometimes affecting our ability to trust you. Just being real, God. Strengthen us to trust in your ways, and to know that you have the final say in all things.

Father, thank you for being the God of multiple chances. Even when we fall again and again, you still look at us through eyes of love. You reach your hand out and say, “let’s try again.” And whatever we’ve destroyed along the way, even those things you help us to make right. We love you and are grateful for your amazing grace.
