We believe that one of the characteristics of a strong and vibrant community is the ability for various parties to communicate with one another, especially in a positive manner. Businesses want to share information about their presence, and their special promotions. Churches and civic groups need to get the word out about their activities, and their desire for new members, so they can grow and con

tribute to the vitality of the community they serve. Individuals want to learn about the people in their neighborhood, so they can find connections and feel positive about the overall wellness of the community. These things, and more, are the driving forces behind a new community-based publication -- the "Clintonville Spotlight" -- to serve the Clintonville area. From Arcadia to the Worthington city limits, and the Olentangy River to Interstate 71, this monthly periodical will be filled with uplifting stories about the local people, places and events that help define this neighborhood.

It's a big weekend for several Clintonville artists:

Some artists come from hours away to share their work with visitors at the Worthington Arts Festival – others not so far. A few Clintonville artists can be found among the booths at the 30th anniversary festival this month. After three decades of sharing art with the community, the Worthington Art...

Such a great day for Clintonville, with scenes shot at Mozart's and Rafters! Be on the lookout for Down to the Felt - The Movie in the near future!

What a great evening at Mozart's last night! We were proud to host Big Deal Pictures filming a scene for their upcoming project 'Down to the Felt' in our back parking lot. Actor Scottie Thompson was a great sport and had a blast hanging out with our Mozart mannequin. Most of the filming for this project has been done at small businesses in the Clintonville area.

It was truly inspiring to see the passion and dedication of the crew of more than 40 local artists working to elevate the independent Columbus film industry to the next level. Join us in supporting the arts and independent films at https://donorbox.org/down-to-the-felt

Some of my favorite memories from childhood, like many people, I’m sure, revolve around holiday traditions: n Picking out a Christmas tree with my parents and brother at the Oakland Nursery lot near our house and walking it home, standing upright in a wagon. n Eating dyed-green scrambled eggs and ...

Without more community support, Whetstone's long-standing Summer Concert Series at the Park of Roses could be finished:

A long-standing Clintonville tradition might have played its final note, unless supporters can rally to keep the music playing. The Civitan Club of North Columbus has pulled away from organizing its Sunday evening outdoor concerts at the Whetstone Park of Roses. A weekly event for more than 60 years...
