IN PHOTOS: The SBPA Students jived to the beat last SBPA Night with the theme “Pantropiko” on May 3, 2024, at the Emilio Cinense Gymnasium.

It was indeed successful! Everyone had the chance to socialize and enjoy the company of each other before the academic year ends, which was the objective of the event.

Thank you to all the people who made the event possible—to the BACC officers, Dean Michaella Castillo, Dr. Abel Pineda (BACC Adviser), and to the following for gracing their time in attending the event: Father Joselito Henson, Ms. Fidela Balajadia, Mr. Joel Calaguas, Mr. Reynald Velardo, and Mr. Roilingel Calilung.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to IStyle Events & Planning for the wonderful venue set-up and catering.

“Every worthwhile accomplishment, big or small, has its stages of drudgery and triumph: a beginning, a struggle, and a victory.” - Mahatma Gandhi

The concluded seminar with the topic “Business Venture: A Success Story” was indeed inspiring. Mr. Stephen Dizon talked about the fruit of trying and ensuring progress, which can lead to your ultimate goal. While Ms. Melissa Devero imparted in her talk that failure is just a lesson a business must learn in order to succeed and be better next time.

With everything that has been shared by two of our speakers, it will for sure give way to a bright idea and plan for the upcoming feasibility study of the 3rd year SBPA students.

We would also like to thank Mr. Stephen Dizon and Ms. Melissa Devero for their phenomenal and inspiring talks. Both of you are true pillars of determination and hard work.

It’s a wrap!

The SBPA Games held on February 20–21, 2024, were indeed successful. The event wouldn’t be possible without the help of the BACC officers, professors, and other people who made it happen.

It truly did foster camaraderie and friendship among the students while enjoying the various games and competitions prepared as well as the booths that were put up.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this event. We hope to see you all again next academic year!

Continuing the act of love, now for Mother Earth.

Today at 7:30 a.m., a couple of our students in marketing management 3B completed their community service at Eco Farm in Mexico, San Jose Matulid. They exhibited stewardship by sowing eggplant seedlings in the area and also gave away snacks to a few of the people there.

“Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Through a simple feeding program, a few of our Marketing Management 3A students showed their generosity and warmth to the families from Sitio Tahimik, especially the children, last February 5, 2024. This would not be possible without the guidance of Sister Marissa Figueroa and Sir Norbert Joseph Sumugat Garcia. The positive turnout for such a cause shows just how committed our dear risk takers are to contributing to the community.

LATELY: Few of our SBPA students attended a seminar last September 23 in partnership with the UA Eco Farm Volunteers with the theme “Climate Change and Sustainable Livelihood for UA SPARK Volunteers."

The said seminar was graced by the presence of two great speakers from the Department of Accountancy, Mrs. Rosalinda Perez and Mrs. Maylene Evangelista.

Students gained knowledge on the impact of climate change and how to contribute to its lessening through the sustainable livelihood project of the university that has been practiced through the years. The UA Eco Farm has become part of the school’s beneficiary and venue for community service. Located in San Jose, Matulid, in San Fernando, volunteers from different departments work together to maintain the lush and serene nature of the farm.

UA is environment-approved.

Another day, another illuminating seminar for our BA students!

Last August 24, 2023, the 4th year students had their Feasibility Study Conference at the UA Social Hall and was facilitated by Ms. Khriselle Anne G. Castillo.

The said seminar gave an opportunity to the 4th year Marketing Students to learn more about the financial aspect of conducting a research. This academic session will undoubtedly help them strengthen their knowledge on the relevant subject matter.

This seminar would not have been possible without the help of our Dean, Dr. Michaella Castillo, Prof. Fidela Balajadia, Dr. Abel Pineda, and of course, the BACC officers.

Thank you so much, Ms. Khriselle Anne G. Castillo, for sharing your expertise with our 4th year students.

We anticipate that joining the session was remarkable for you and guided you a lot and we’ll see you at the event we've got coming up.

See you, Risk Takers!👋💛

Today, August 23, 2023, our dear 3rd year students attended the Business Research Study Conference instructed by Sir Joel Calaguas. The said program was held at the UA Social Hall during the afternoon.

This informative seminar gave the 3rd year students an opportunity to learn more about the process of conducting research specifically, about statistical data and analysis. The students can surely have greater trust that their findings are legitimate, dependable, and that they can have confidence in the carrying out of such outcomes by using statistics.

This seminar would not be possible without the help our Dean, Dr. Michaella Castillo, to BACC’s adviser, Dr. Abel Pineda and especially to the BACC officers.

A big thank you to our dear Professor, Sir Joel Calaguas for imparting your knowledge and expertise to our dear 3rd year students.

We hope you enjoyed and learned a lot from attending the seminar. See you at our next event, Risk Takers! 💛
