You know, I meant to post this a few days back - y’all, I love all of my friends who have won a Grammy and I hope all of you music makers get nominated for one, but that award isn’t the definition of who you are or anyone else is as an artist and the Grammy’s will likely never represent the real tapestry of music.

There are so, so, so many amazing bands and performers out there making wonderful, earnest, and beautiful music who will never be nominated for a Grammy. Go out and support them.

Free market and there were no limits put in place to stop you from buying as many of the / mystery boxes as you want (while this guy seems to have only bought one, I saw others bragging b about buying as many as 6) - but this is next level awful behavior and it’s my right to hate you for it.

I know I’m a guitar-centric podcast and her music may not be everyone’s vibe but I have adored since her appearance on American Idol and even more so since her appearances with .

She just put on a freakin’ master class in Jackson, MS at . Her talent is obvious - everyone knows she could call a storm with her voice, but when faced with a smaller than anticipated crowd (you let me down, Jackson!), she delivered a spectacular performance that would have been apt for a crowd of 5,000 rather than the 50 present (a very loud and appreciative 50).

I hope you all get to go see Haley live - you will not leave disappointed.

My Captor X is officially a brick and unfortunately it’s out of warranty so the only option I’ve been given is to ship it to France and pay for a repair plus shipping. By the time I pay for shipping and the repair, I could almost buy another one plus the time to get it back.

What’s everyone else using that’s not a gazillion dollars? I’m open to new approaches - I need something that actually manages to capture clean tones well! So many of these amp capture devices do dirty tones well but can’t seem to translate clean tones!
