Back in May 2023 we launched Gypsy Sol Radio with the intention of showcasing a diverse range of sounds played by a collective of passionate like-minded DJs/presenters.
We have been overwhelmed by the positive reaction to our brand-new station, which has reached all corners of the globe - picking up listeners from places as far away as Nairobi, Berlin, Montreal and Cape Town. As well as, of course, in Suffolk, UK from where it broadcasts.
Saying this, it’s important for us to share that we’ve also received feedback which suggests that the name of the station needs to change. We never set out to offend anyone but having listened to the feedback, we have taken the decision to change the name of the station.
We are therefore delighted to announce that new name will be Transient Radio which we feel fits with the original ethos of the radio station.
Over the course of the next couple of weeks we will continue to upload the recordings of the shows from 12 August 2023 under the old name after which we will be having a break whilst the new website is built and a logo finalised.
We then intend to launch Transient Radio on 6th January 2024and are really excited to do this.
For now, we wish to thank you for your support and hope you will continue to join us on our journey of bringing quality and eclectic music to the world…and beyond.
