Who Is Mageee?

So here we are...

My passion for video games began a long time ago. My first love for gaming started with my Game boy DMG. I had so many games for it, from the amazing Mortal Kombat to Super Mario, and who can forget Links Awakening?!

Then as a Teen I remember begging my parents for a Nintendo 64. I finally received one for Christmas in 1997. Oh my god was that a great console - and was so advanced for its time.

I had Super Mario 64 as well as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but it would have to be Golden Eye that really made me fall in love with multi player video games. I had countless days and nights where my friends and I would all play huddled around my little TV. I believe it was only around 14”. Although having four player split screens was a bit of a downer, it wouldn't stop us, as we would all sit around this tiny TV and play Golden Eye for hours. Multi player was where it was. Game after game after game, with some amazing golden gun rounds. We had so many laughs and made some great memories.

I never had any other Nintendo or Nintendo handhelds consoles after that. I went straight to PlayStation (like nearly the rest of the world) and owned all the generations up to the PS4. Then the amazing Nintendo Switch came along and brought my love back to Nintendo, as I’m sure it did for a lot of other people. I definitely wasn’t the only one.

I slowly started collecting all the Nintendo handheld Game Boys and Nintendo DS handhelds in 2019. I own DMG, Colour, SP, Advance, DS lite, 3DS Nintendo WiiU and even a couple of Micros. I’m still in the process of getting them on display just perfect. I’ve also collected every Legend of Zelda games for each console.

I’m a huge fan of The Legend Of Zelda franchise and I still have a few more to play as I’m on catch up.

So far I would say my top Zelda game would be Links Awakening, which is a great game and I really enjoyed it. Breath of the wild is in a league of its own, so I cant really say that its the best as that’s just a known fact #gameofthetyear2017

Nintendo make such an amazing variety of games from couch co-op multi player to captivating single player campaigns, such as Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda Breath of the Wild. These games in particular are what drew me back into the loving arms of Nintendo. I’m excited to see what Nintendo can bring out in the future.

I’d like to thank you all for taking the time to listen to my drivel about my love for gaming. It’s not going to stop guys. I can’t thank you all enough for continuing to follow and support me on my gaming journey.
