Have you ever heard of
Utilising these to their full capacity can become quite complex and an incredible way to fast track your content creation but still provide ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ณ๐๐น ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ for your profiles. Here's one way to use them...
One flows on to the next like a flow chart or pyramid from top to bottom.
1. You have your Brand and the over generalised ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ that you cover. What is that?
2. Under this, your brand field is made up of ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฝ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ that uphold or make up the main things you do or cover.
3. From each of these Topic Pillars you can create Sub Pillars.
4. Then take it one step further and these can even become content ideas!
5. With each of the content ideas, be sure to cover the different kinds of content so you're not a one trick pony.
I can see you all staring at your phones thinking, "Toni... Please give me an example!" ๐
1. My overall field is Social Media.
2. My main Content Pillars could be Social Media Design, Brand Voice, Social Media Strategy, Social Media and Digital Marketing.
3. Under Social Media Design I might consider Sub Topics: Colours, Brand Tone, Fonts, Content Design
4. From Colours I can break this down into sub-topics and content ideas: colour pallets, colour psychology, existing brand colours, colour consistency etc - then I can create various posts about those!
If you want to get the most out of this post for your brand, take a moment to write down your content pillars. Brainstorm and come up with a few post ideas for each! Once you're done you might be surprised with the content ideas you have come up with!
Don't forget to tag me or message when you put it into practice. I'd love to see. ๐ค
