Things I would’ve done differently on my first CRUISE 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

First of all, let me say that I am not an expert on cruising, I’m just letting you know what I would’ve done differently to save some money AND enjoy my time more 😏

☀️ BROUGHT WAY MORE SUNSCREEN and ALOE than I actually did.

The sun doesn’t play down in the Caribbean. Protect your skin because the ship’s sunscreen is expensive AF

☀️ Push past my fear and get to know the other cruisers on the ship.

I’m not the most social person but I do regret not making more friends or at least talking to more people 🙂

☀️ Worry LESS about making it to my arrival appointment on time 😂

Literally, you have time. The ship didn’t even leave until a couple hours AFTER it was supposed to. But still, give yourself enough time to find parking, get your stuff, and make it to the port.

☀️ Been MORE prepared for sea sickness 🤡

Y’all, I really thought I would be immune, but the very first night, I was NOT. Be prepared and bring those acupuncture bands or some Dramamine to help with nausea.

One of the BEST places I’ve been able to explore 🌲

As I was sitting on that rock, I got to thinking about all my actions and choices that led me to that place.

For many days, I wondered if I could ever live a life of adventure like so many travel influencers were doing.

Then I realized that the reason THEY are getting to do this, is because they took action and made it happen.

They decided to take the road less traveled and go after a life that not many have the courage to go after.

That’s when it hit me. I would’ve never been able to travel as much as I wanted or have more time to pursue my passions if I didn’t take the leap into building my own online brand.

It was scary of course and uncertain at times. But the future I am building for myself looks so much better than spending a life behind a desk, exhausted as heck and longing for more.

I can’t wait for more of these adventures and to see what else life has for me. 😎

One of my favorite things to do…go out and be with nature 🌲🍃

This was a hiking trail up close to the blue ridge mountains in Georgia.

It was so beautiful to be around. I’m thankful that I get to do more of those types of things 😌

There are many options that can help you leave your 9-5 and take the leap 👇🏼 🌎 Build up MULTIPLE streams of online income (because the truth is, you don’t have to pick ONE) 🌎 Volunteer with a work exchange program like @worldpackers where you can stay and eat for free in exchange for a few hours of work everyday at any destination 🌎 Take weekend trips around your state or city to start small 🌎 Search up flights on Google flights and be open to whatever flights are available that are affordable 🌎 The most important thing is to build a life where you have complete flexibility and ways of earning money ON YOUR OWN TIME and in MULTIPLE ways.
