There is a rumor spreading around — folks in The County even asked about it this week — that 2 Feet 👣 is trying to expand. And it’s true.
We’re trying to buy a building just around the corner that provides us with enough room to add a larger brewing system and has an incredible restaurant space.
If you’ve been to 2 Feet you know it’s cramped, and after 6 years we’re ready to start paying our own mortgage.
80 Columbia Street has given us an incredible start but we’ve outgrown it and we need more space. We searched for more than a year for a bigger home and found our possible new location by happenstance.
We are excited about providing Bangor with what will feel like a new restaurant but will have the welcoming comforts 2 Feet customers have come to love.
If you look at what 2 Feet has done with the 600-square-feet of restaurant space we have now, imagine what we can do with almost triple the room.
Those who want to support our mission can now sign up for our Founder’s Club; or can purchase a “Year of Beer,” which is 365 “forever” beers at our original $5/pint cost with no time limit on when to use them.
For $99, Founder’s Club members get a 20-ounce Founder’s Club mug that can be filled for the cost of a pint of their selected brew; a unique shirt; a free birthday meal; and are notified first of any special promotions/dinners.
You are investing in a nearly 7-year-old family owned and operated local brewery that sells only Maine-made products — wine, mead, cider, soda and beer — and therefore are supporting more than 20 local businesses. This helps to keep a ton of Mainers working.
And, of course, if we move into a larger space we’ll be hiring a few hard working locals.
