Throw back Thursday… 39 years old with my Amp in a Can, selling them to Billy Gibbons and other rockers, while living in New Mexico, driving my Harley sportster, working on Breaking Bad.. roller skating most all day on set while serving my snack…shopping van was a cream colored 1981 bad ass vanagon, performing lightshows with local musicians and for Breaking Bad crew….loving on my two Jack Russell’s Sonny and Lume.. those were the days!

My new shelving for my shopping van arrived today.. and the rubber floor mat!
Am I crazy for being exited for this?
Nah!!
My show starts in a few weeks and I am gearing up and looking forward to shopping in this van!

Oh.. that is Donavan the truck driver who went above and beyond helping me unpack, check for damaged and place in garage.and then took all the cardboard for me.
He absolutely did not have to help me but he did. 💜
And a beautiful day on top of that 😊!

Finally Champion Craft Service has a business license and also got my new 10x20 gray pop up w purple siding.. a good day in my crafty world!!

Soups are in the making and this view today!
We have a tri-colored potato added to my mirepoix w arugula and lemon, also crawfish Bisque and smoked gouda grilled cheese on sourdough baquette.
Here we go!

Let the prep begin!
Prep begins with Chris strapping,screwing and securing metal shelving.
It makes a huge difference to have shelves for my shop and organization.
We pause now and strike for a decent contract.

We are finding our groove.
Challenging but not impossible.
Staying safe by not taking chances.
We all just do the best we can and learn from others.
Little free time, long hours.
The rewards are found here in this professional role I play.
And I do not take free time for granite.
Nor do I rush from job to job.
My 10 year old daughter and my husband keep me grounded.
Before our daughter entered our life, I worked non stop w few breaks.
But now... I no longer work like that.
I look forward to each show and the nice breaks in between spending time being a mom and the role of what I call Domestic Engineer.
Living the dream. One day at a time.
