I've had a couple of mentally draining days. I haven't been sleeping well. My brain is exhausted, yet continues to reel with thought and ideas. I've felt dry, vacant, and sore... I decided to get my yoga mat out of my car on my lunch break, until I saw the rain. We've been needing the rain for so long. I HAVE needed the rain for so long. I decided to take advantage of this beautiful October day and the space in the back of my car with my seats folded down. I lit some incense, cracked the windows, and rolled out my mat. I just laid there, smelling the sweet aroma of the smoke mixed with the fall rain, listening to the heavy drops land on my car and rolling down the windshield. Some light stretching and deep breathing soon drifted me off into a much needed power nap before waking up and going back to the office. One hour, well spent.
