I had a paw-some day at training today!

Our custom Oreos came in yesterday and they have my face on them! They are for my first birthday. Although the cookies aren’t for me, my human family will sure enjoy them. Be on the look out for more birthday pictures to come.

He’s home!!! Every kidney test was normal, so we are out of the woods. He was so excited to see us and we were very excited to see him too. It’s was a great Mother’s Day gift to get my baby back home. 💕

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

**Do not feed dogs grapes! Do not leave grapes out for wild animals! Grapes can kill dogs**

Ryker is currently admitted at the emergency vet. Someone left a pile of grapes outside in the grass, presumably for the squirrels. Ryker ate some. He was taken right away to the ER where they induced vomiting. They got 5 up, but it is unknown how many he actually ate before I realized what he was doing. He is being kept for 48 hours under observation, continual IV fluids and blood tests every 24 hours to look for any change in his kidney values. He is stable and not showing any outward signs of poisoning. The first blood results will be back later this evening, so fingers crossed they got them all out and there is no damage to his kidneys.

My favorite game is find the (slightly used) sock! There is a big field beside my house where the grass is really tall. My parents hide a sock and I use my nose to find it. It’s never too early to begin my search and rescue training. Look for a full video on my YouTube channel to follow in the next couple weeks.
