If you've ever installed a Sedum Roof in Ireland, chances are it started its life here, at the Green Roofs Direct nursery, just below us here on the Shore Road beside Islandmagee.

It was a small consolation to capture these stunning colours as we were actually out searching for a missing pet duck😥

If we ever get the chance, we'll be installing one of these ourselves.

You couldn't have asked for more glorious weather for this afternoon's 'Big Lunch' event, as part of the ongoing Coronation Celebrations. It was lovely seeing everyone out and about enjoying themselves.

First night of a busy weekend in Ballycarry filming the village Coronation Celebrations...tonight festivities commenced with Fireworks, Pipers, Lambeg Drums and a Beacon.

We start it all again for the Family Fun Day on the Main Street @ 2pm tomorrow, and then @ 10am Monday with the 'Big Help Out' Litter Pick starting in the Pub Car Park.

We're filming all weekend, so be sure to look up and give us a wave. Keep an eye out for the highlight video on Monday!!!

A quick pop down the M1 on Sunday to film the 1st ever Tempo Primary School Tractor Run.

Organised by the Parent-Teacher Support Group, over 100 tractors turned out to support this worthy cause.

Thankfully the weather played ball so we hope you enjoy this short highlight reel of the event.

Newtownabbey was looking resplendent at the start of the week during another Chimney Inspection, this time at a Primary School in the area. Sometimes it's very hard not to get distracted from the job in hand when you have views like this!

These guys weren't too bothered about our inspection of the chimney stacks at Custom House over the weekend as part of the ongoing refurbishment works. They really do have the best ("bird's eye"🙄) view of the city!

Restrictions easing means we can finally get flying again in earnest. The recent dry spell is the scourge of greenkeepers everywhere, but it's perfect conditions for Golf Course Drainage Surveys again.

No better place to start than Holywood Golf Club, the course that spawned one of the greatest golfers ever to come from these shores, former World Number one Rory McIlroy.

Flying in the Holywood area presents some interesting challenges, with half the course being within the Controlled Airspace of George Best City Airport, and an entire section of course backing onto a Minsitry of Defence site, namely Palace Barracks.

However with careful planning and what seemed like dozens of phone calls, all the necessary permissions were received and the flight went without a hitch.

This was also the first flight trialling some new mapping software, and we look forward to showing the enhanced service what we can now provide....more details coming soon.

Whilst the recent dry spell has been poor news for gardeners, it has provided perfect conditions to carry out golf course drainage surveys again. With historic drainage now visible on courses, we are able to identify all existing drains and alongside a golf course designer recommend drainage solutions to courses. Our latest visit was to Portadown Golf Club, who experience flooding every winter due to the course running beside the River Bann. We are now also able to offer composite maps of entire holes, providing a permanent record that will help reduce future costs for maintaining and improving drainage on each course, at a fraction of the cost of traditional surveying methods.
