I know post a lot of "inspirational" stuff or people find inspiration in me ,but the truth is I have been hurt by heartache, mistakes, missed opportunities, and crushing defeats more times than I can count or care too. One thing that I will say and take this from a real Professor of pain you may fall you maybe crushed and that's okay take that standing 8 count get back in and fight again.

I was up bright and early this morning for my morning jog 5:30 am it was cold and it was rainy ...I don't let a little bit of rain bother me because I am already in the trenches of my soul. A friend of mine drew this for me since I have been hitting the gym. The Rocky movies are my all time favorite movies (except Rocky 5 ) I am trying super hard this go around. I am fully vested in on my road to redemption there is a little bit of Rocky in all of us and it's up to us to get the Eye of the Tiger. This is the year I take my life back and it's the spring time of youth and perseverance is in full bloom and The mighty Choleslaw is running wild.From this point on the laws of gravity and what can and cannot be done is merely a suggestion.

Well folks it took me 24 years almost 25 ,but I am finally starting to see my worth as an athlete and most importantly as a man today I burned 1569 calories today( not including my lifting routine) and a total of 5.3miles I went through. Life is filled with second chances and opportunities It's up to you whether you choose to take the opportunity and thank you to all who support me I love you all. Here's to the rest of the adventure

People often say that I give them inspiration during my workout posts and I am often asked who gives me inspiration and I am very fortunate to a lot of wonderful people in my corner and I wanna give an extra shout to my friend Victor Hugo Quiruz Guerra he gave me so many lessons on what takes to be a good man and he always treated me like a son and I often say to myself if victor can be strong then I can be too.May god bless you always Victor and stay strong and keep punching

I have never been someone who has been comfortable with the way I look or how I feel.What I am is someone who is always trying to or at least attempting to be a better person whether it be physically, spiritually, or in some cases mentally. Perfection and happiness are two things that are hardly ever easily obtained. It is the strength you find in yourself and others along the way is how you truly get to the end destination. Outward negativity and doubt are only illusions and road blocks you gotta overcome.Always remember if I can change then you can too so let's never give up and get there together

For those of you who don't know old Slawster has been struggling with the series of health complications over the course of the past few months from almost losing sight in my left eye to having to have emergency surgery to save my life. If there is one thing you can always count on that is I may be knocked down but by the graces of god I get back up and fight again. A good friend of mine made this artwork of me and he wrote in Mandarin 传奇永不消逝 (legends never die) so anyone reading this just remember to never give up and you are never alone because as long as I draw breath I won't give up and neither should you

Today is Veteran's Day one of the few days a year where we can all truly come together as Americans and give thanks and honor the valiant efforts and sacrifices that our service men and women made to ensure our freedom and liberty. As The Board secretary of the Veterans committee in my town it was an honor and a privilege to hang the flags over at veterans park. Now I ask all my friends and family to take a moment to say a prayer for all of our current active duty personnel, our Veterans, to our servicemen that did not return home or that did not return home the same person as when they left and for those of the service members whose fate we do not know and will never forget them. God bless the USA god bless you and GOD BLESS our Veterans. 🇺🇲🇺🇲

Today was a good day yet a somber day. Today was the day in our sleepy little township we honored our service men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice with the memorial day festivities. It was an honor and a privilege to be asked by the Veterans board to place the Coast Guard Wreath on the veterans memorial not only as a person who is in the Coast Guard Aux. but as a proud American. I would like to ask all of my family and friends to take a moment to reflect on memorial day about the brave men and women who served also I want you all to take a moment to pray for the Veterans who have passed and for the Veterans who were able to come back home. God bless you all and have a safe memorial day!
