OPPORTUNITY ALERT!!!

There are conferences you attend and your life changes forever!!

I attended a certain conference in 2020 in Ibadan, Nigeria and my career took an upward turn.

Prior to that time, I received an invitation to attend the 2019 edition but I turned it down. In hindsight, I did not know how much impact the conference would have on me.

In 2020, the opportunity came again, and I flew to Ibadan from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State just to attend the Conference for 2 days.

Every milestone I have achieved in my career, and every impact I have made in the lives of thousands of people since 2020 is as a result of what I gained in the conference - Heart Enlargement Speciale!!

Heart Enlargement Speciale is a conference organised by The Standing Church International, where you will be empowered with life-transforming words for great exploits in your business, career, academics, EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE.

The 2024 edition is just around the corner and you should be there!! You will see and hear from people who are doing mighty things in their sectors with ease.

The conference holds in Ibadan on Friday, 12th and Saturday, 13th of July 2024 at THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTRE, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

If you are in Ibadan, do not miss!!
If you are in any other city, travel down!!

YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THE SPECIALE EXPERIENCE!!!

HALF TIME!

For a referee, half time means a brief break to catch their breath, review the game so far, and prepare for the intense second half.

For footballers, half time is a crucial moment to regroup, reassess their strategy, and refuel for the final push to victory.

And for us, half time is a metaphor for the midpoint of the year, a chance to pause, reflect, and recharge for the second half.

As we look back on the past six months, we may have experienced triumphs, successes and challenges. But through it all, we have learned and grown, an that is because...

Every experience is an OPPORTUNITY for growth and advancement!!

Speaking of opportunities, have you heard? There's a life-changing conference happening in the city of Ibadan this July at the International Conference Centre. My life was greatly transformed when I travelled from Uyo to Ibadan to attend the 2020 edition. I have not missed any since then!!

As we head into the second half of the year, let's

✅ Refocus our goals and aspirations.
✅ Rekindle our passions and interests.
✅ Renew our commitment to personal growth.
✅ Recharge our energy and enthusiasm.

Remember the Conference I spoke about? It will help you do these 4Rs easily!

Stay tuned for more updates!

DO YOU OFTEN KEEP THINGS TO YOURSELF?

For me, it depends.

It actually depends on what it is.

There are some things I eagerly look forward to sharing with other people. Often times, it is access to a particular information.

For example:

I do not stop telling people who are in any academic endeavor to plug in on The Supernatural Student Telegram Channel.

I excitedly tell anyone going to the Nigerian Law School to be a part of NLS Mind-Check Mentorship

Whether or not you ask me for answers to pressing questions about your business or career, I will point you to The Supernatural Businessman Telegram Channel. If these questions concern your relationship or family, The Supernatural Family Telegram Channel is where I will point you to.

Without fail, every answer or information I share with people helps them achieve desired results and leaves me with a stronger resolve not to keep beneficial information to myself.

This is why I am letting this particular one out - D.C. 2024

Whether you are present in the city of Ibadan or not, this is one gathering that will leave an immeasurable impact on your life.

Tomorrow, I will share one remarkable thing that came out from Dominion Convention to me.

THE MENTOR’S REFLECTIONS
TMR 1 - 12/12/2023

The seeds of my passion for mentoring students for the Bar Exams were sown during my own interesting journey through the Nigerian Law School.

As I navigated the rigorous curriculum and prepared for the Bar Exams, I realised the immense value of an excellent mindset that did not embrace mediocrity. A mindset that leveraged the rich deposits from the Spirit of Excellence which God had put in me. I learnt all this from an audio message which I won’t stop talking about - The Spirit of Excellence. (Link to access the audio is in the comments)

This realisation became the catalyst for a new chapter in my life.

With the ink still fresh on my own excellence and exploits at the 2019 Bar Exams (1st Class grade, 7th overall best student out of 5689 students, Best in Criminal Litigation), I made the decision to share my experiences and insights with aspiring lawyers facing the oftenly-described daunting Bar Exams.

I believed that my journey could serve as a beacon of hope and that my knowledge could be a guiding force for people seeking excellence in their academic endeavors.

I began by directly mentoring 20 people in 2020 for 20 weeks, facilitating weekly mentoring sessions where I passionately infused the mindset of excellence in them. As I did this, I knew I had found my calling! That year, was born

For two years now, the results have rolled in, and there's much more to come. By God’s grace I have produced at least 15 first class students from the Nigerian Law Schoo;, amidst hundreds of students who have had excellent grades and have gone ahead to work in Top-tier law firms in and outside Nigeria. My joy is not just in the physical results but in the growth, determination, and total transformation in each mentee.

I end this reflection with the words on one of my 2022 Mentees. She said: “You were really instrumental through my Law School Journey. You helped me see the bigger picture of myself and now you have built something in me that can never collapse”

This, in itself, is my definition of FULFILMENT!

JOIN ME IN LAGOS THIS SATURDAY

I will be attending Heart Enlargement Lagos, and I am extending an invitation to you.

(Fear not, it is not a physical surgery😊😊)

Heart Enlargement is ONE conference where

The Word of God is taught and the power of God is present to give you an immersive experience in great leaps and limitless possibilities.

Heart Enlargement is ONE conference where

The boundaries in your heart are shattered and you are immersed with strength to achieve great things in life.

Heart Enlargement is ONE conference where

You leave with the POWER (and not mere motivation) to dominate in your sphere of influence.

The results I have today stem from my heart being enlarged in meetings like these, and I invite you to be a part of this experience this Saturday (12th August) in Lagos.

If you're interested in attending, please comment, "INTERESTED"

This post is about efficiency, reliability, and great customer service.

But I'll tell a story, a true life story.

It was my friend's birthday eve and a gift idea crossed my mind, in addition to other surprises I had earlier planned.

The gift idea was to have frame some words which my friend values so much, so that she will always see the words beautifully expressed in the frame.

To execute this idea, I needed to contact someone who will work on a design, print, frame and deliver within SHORT NOTICE!

This is where Alice comes in.

Previously, someone had told me, "if you need any work done which concerns printing, designing, etc, just call Alice and she will get it done."

So, I decided to try, and of a truth, she didn't disappoint. The next day, everything was ready, and we'll packaged.

I don't know how she does it, but Alice is effective, efficient, reliable and always finds a way to get things done. I remember a time we needed to get something by 7:30am and we called Alice the night before, around 10:30pm. She got on it and delivered.

It is not every time that you find a business owner who goes out of their way to ensure that clients are served and treated well. When you find them, support and recommend them.

Alice always delivers and as she has found her path in entrepreneurship, I am excited to recommend her.

Check out her services and contact details in the next slide.

Follow her

PS: Today is her birthday and a great day to make this post.😊😊

If you have the opportunity to predict something, let it not be doom or evil.

Head or tail, we win! God is the maintainer of your destiny, not the government.

I'm yet to see a ruler in this day who will order that someone be put literally in a fiery furnace or in a den of lions, so relax. We are marching through this phase with greatness.

How do you bounce back after failure:

1. Refuse to see yourself as a failure: That fact that you failed doesn't make you take on the identity of a failure. You are an excellent person who just had a challenging moment of failure. Always remember that you are a success, and let this identity preoccupy your mind.

2. Try again: As long as you have the opportunity, try again. Write that exams again. Go for that interview again. Apply for that opportunity again. Do not halt your life because of past experiences. Forge ahead.

3. Learn from those who have succeeded: You can speak with a Mentor or colleague who has experienced success in that area and learn from them. Do not be ashamed or embarrassed about this.

4. Keep your mind alert with the victory that God has given you. Defeat the fear of failure that lurks around in your mind. I highly recommend this audio resource titled, "Defeating the Fear of Failure". It is a 29-minute audio that will save you hours and years of fear of failure. (Link in comment section).

IT IS TIME TO BOUNCE BACK!

Do not let the past experiences of failure keep you down, or affect your tenacity towards advancement.

You are not a failure!

Write that exams again!

Go for that interview again!

Apply for that opportunity again!

You have succeeded!

PS: Do well to listen to audio I recommended, and also let me know if it helps. You should also subscribe to that Telegram Channel for more helpful audio resources.

Indeed, distance is not a barrier!

This testimony is one that has blessed me, and blesses me everytime I think about it.

God is still doing great and mighty things today.

Even if you connect to a meeting online, you can be sure that you will have your expectations met.

Here's another opportunity this weekend.

As you head to the polls on Saturday you can easily connect to Heart Enlargement on Mixlr or YouTube by 12pm.

18/02/2023

"15 minutes more!"

Maxwell was rounding off his second question when he heard that announcement. It was his Bar Examination in the Law School and he needed to answer 4 questions out of 6.

As he resigned to fate, he remembered how he had the same struggle with time in almost all his exams as an undergraduate in University of Nigeria.

Poor Maxwell! He only will be able to answer 2 questions and this will negatively impact on his grade.

Many students have the same struggle with time management in exams. In fact, it is almost as though time spent in an exam hall runs faster than Usain Bolt.

If you are that student, this is for you.

Note this:

1. Time Management is part of an exam assessment: Your examiners really want to know if you can read through a broad question, understand it and give proper answers within the timeframe alloted.

2. You will be assessed on your attempt across all questions asked, and not on your excellent attempt on one or two questions, to the detriment of other questions.

3. Have a plan to attempt all questions in the exams. ATTEMPT ALL. If you have four questions to answer, it is better to score 12, 12, 8, 8 for your attempt of all four questions, than to score 14, 14, 0,0, for your attempt of two questions only.

How do you ensure that you don't run out of time?

4. Divide the time you have for that exam by the number of questions you have to answer, and stick to it. Once you exhaust the time allocated to one question, move to the next. If you still have time after going over all the questions, then you may revisit the questions you didn't finish.

Here's what I do.

📌In my typical law exams, I have 3 hours (i.e 180 minutes) to answer four questions.
📌I allocate 40 minutes for each question (i.e 160 minutes for the four questions)
📌 I go over my work and review using the remaining 20 minutes and any extra time I have from the questions I finished under my allocated 40 minutes

That way, I am never caught unawares.

You should try this too.

Did you find this helpful? Let me know in the comment section, and share.

02/02/2023

The year was 2019. I was 21, in the Nigerian Law School (NLS), racking my brain on how to sail through the system.

When I first went to NLS, and I was faced with everything the system presented, I was overwhelmed. Sincerely, it was almost depressing and I felt so pressured and inadequate to face the bulky work. I felt choked!

Before now, a friend had shared some of Pastor Tara's messages with me, which Pastor preached during some Exams Outreaches for students. I had access to these messages for over a year, but I had not listened because it didn't just occur to me that God could be be interested in my academics to have a Pastor preach very specific messages to address academic excellence.

One day, I felt stuck with the demands of Law School, and I decided to listen to one of those messages which I had in my archives- THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE. That was the beginning of my victory. My pictures started changing, and I knew that EXCELLENCE, for me, in NLS was a done deal. I no longer felt pressured or bound by the demands of the system. I just knew I will pass, and pass well, that I will not just be the best, but the best of bests.

At the end of Law School, The results were obvious. I had the following awards/recognitions:
✓Director-General's Prize for attaining 1st Class.
✓Sir. Lionel Brett K.B.E Prize for the Best Student in Criminal Litigation.
✓Mrs. Oluwatoyin Doherty's Prize for the Best Female Student in Criminal Litigation.
✓7th Overall Best Graduating Student, out of 5689 students

Sincerely, this victory is not one I will ever attribute to my ability to study 'haaaaarrrrrrrrrddddd'. That singular contact with Pastor Tara in the message made the difference.

Today, through my Mentorship Institution (where I feed my mentees with the same diet that transformed me), I have produced 15 first class students within 2 years.

THIS VOICE has directed the course of my life since my Law School days with tangible results, not just in academics, but in my business and life purpose.

My voice will be loud on what God is doing in this generation through a man - THE MAN - Pastor Tara Akinkuade

NEW MESSAGE ALERT!!!

The Spirit of Faith

The believer is called to be a beacon of the gospel in the sectors. This is achieved by providing solutions of excellence that attract men so that they can receive the gospel. Therefore, every believer must operate keenly in the spirit of faith so that they can consistently produce great personal victories and results that will compel people to hear the gospel.

In this message, the Senior Pastor unveils three keys for building our lives by the spirit of faith so that we can gain influence and can spread the gospel in the sectors.

As THE MENTOR at NLS Mind-Check, I get to relate with different students and it is always exciting going on a mindset renewal journey with them.

In this series, I bring to you highlights of conversations with my Mentees from previous years of NLS Mind-Check Mentorship.

I particularly love Aniekan's story because she came from a place where she desired only a "pass" grade and even 'confronted' my approach in the mentorship at a time, by saying that I made it look easy.

Well, go through the conversations and see how it ended. She was in awe!

My work as a Mentor is not just a casual thing, it is an investment in lives, and I find fulfilment in this path.

Stay tuned for subsequent series.

Meanwhile, registration for NLS Mind-Check Mentorship is still on. No Law School Student should miss out.

It's my "Barniversary"

On this day, 3 years ago, I was called to the Nigerian Bar amidst awards and recognitions.

3 years later, I've taken others down the path of excellence God helped me achieve.

This is my story, particularly the testimony of a transformed mindset.

📌While at the Nigerian Law School, I had this resolve to give it my best. I had two goals. To carry the Red Scroll (First Class) and to be the best of bests. I called it RS and BOB goal.

📌Along the line, pressures set in an every thing felt like a lot. In the midst of that "heavy moment". I came in contact with THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE, an audio message that transformed my mindset and reinforced my drive for the absolute best. (If you need this audio, please comment and I'll share a link)

📌Then, I read testimonies of people who made first class from Law school. I studied these testimonies like I would my book.

📌At some point, I would stand in front of the mirror and practice my "First class victory speech". Yeah, it was that "crazy"

📌My dreams were so real to me. They were scary dreams and some times, my LITTLE efforts would mock at my dreams.

📌I just believed I could make a first class and so I aimed for something higher- to win awards. I even wrote in my journal in June 2019 that I will be called to the Bar on the last day of the call.

On 28th November 2019, I was called to the Nigerian Bar.

📌I graduated with a First Class as the 7th Overall Best in a class of 5689 students, and as the Best Student in Criminal Litigation.

Thereafter, I started a Mentorship Institution, to show people how EASY it is to attain excellence by God's enablement.

📌In 2021, 3 out of the 20 first class recorded in the Nigerian Law School were my Mentees at NLS

📌In 2022, I have counted 12 of my Mentees who have a first class.

How about 2023?
There will be so much more.

If you know any one going to the Nigerian Law School, we will walk them through at NLS Mind-Check.

This excellence will yet be replicated!

In retrospect, it has been an impactful and fulfilling 3 years at the Bar. I look forward to brighter years.
