So I just watched a clip of Rema, where he mentioned some of Nigeria's music legends that contributed to pushing Afrobeats globally and also people he respects on the VMA stage during his award acceptance speech, with Selena.
It was his award and time to shine but he gave honour to those whose honour is due. That act is nothing but humility and this is one of the many reasons I love Rema as a person, his talents in music aside.
Rema is a well-spoken, Intelligent both mentally and emotionally, reserved and mature young man. He has all the qualities to be a global star and that's what stands him out from his peers in the music industry.
P.S: Selena Gomez is so humble and sweet, see the way she was smiling at Rema in admiration as he was giving his acceptance speech.
