Last time I visited Rokusho in Hollywood, I was blown away by its stunning plating, chic decor, and incredible flavors. ✨ This time, I had the chance to visit their original location in Tokyo, tucked away in Nakameguro. 🗼
Fun fact: Rokusho started as a bar, known for housing some of the rarest bottles of alcohol. 🍾 And guess what? Billie Eilish has visited here! 🎤 They’re now transitioning into a restaurant, much like their LA spot, and I got to try their new tasting menu! 🍴
First up: burrata and fruit salad. 🍓🍒 Simple, but so good—the ripe, flavorful fruit paired perfectly with the creamy, soft burrata. Next, the Torotaku Avocado Garden, a dish I loved in LA. 🥑 Tokyo’s version? Just as creamy and beautifully plated.
The third dish: fish carpaccio. 🎣 Topped with red onion, capsicum, Japanese pickles, and a drizzle of balsamic sauce—it’s fresh, tangy, and absolutely delicious. Then came the salmon confit, adorned with edible flowers and peppercorns. If you’re a ginger fan, you’ll love the spicy twist in the seasoning, and the salmon’s texture was just perfect.
For skewers, I tried pork tenderloin and rare salmon cutlets. The salmon stole the show with its crispy crust, rare center, and tangy tartar sauce. 🤩
The final savory dish: porcini risotto. 🍄 Warm, cheesy, and fragrant—a comforting way to wrap up the meal.
And of course, I enjoyed three Clase Azul pairings 🥂 while learning about the history behind each bottle from our amazing waitress, Jay. 🙌
Did you know @dtsantamonica finally has their first ever winery tasting room? 🍷
Grab your girlfriends because you’re gonna want to try @ajavineyards for their wine 🍷 flights and delicious 😋 charcuterie. I even got to meet @sommthing.rad , one of the A’s in AJA who was super friendly and knowledgeable. Out of the four, I picked the estate tasting flight which includes 5️⃣ estate-grown wines. Before starting, we were treated to a complimentary palate cleanser made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, sparkling ✨ and chardonnay. Our experience featured one white wine and four red wines, each paired with a brief history of its name and production. My favorites were the Sauvignon Blanc from Ed’s Vineyards with tropical notes of grilled pineapple 🍍 and the 2013 Syrah offering umami flavors of mocha ☕️ and mushroom. 🍄🟫 The Syrah was perfectly paired with dark chocolate 🍫 for a sweet finish.
They’ve only been open for a few months but I can already see myself coming back for a fun Galentines 💕or a cute ☺️ date night activity. Don’t forget to send this video to someone who loves good wine 🍷 and good vibes!
This week, I got invited to the grand opening of @chubbycattlebbq in Rowland Heights, and let me tell you—it’s a feast like no other! 🍖🍣✨
@chubby.group pulled out all the stops—cake cutting, ribbon cutting, and SO much delicious food! 😍 This spot’s been in soft opening for 6️⃣ months, but now they’re officially open with their liquor license approved. Cheers to that! 🍹
If you don’t know, Chubby Cattle is an AYCE BBQ spot serving Wagyu beef, sushi, AND they’ve got a karaoke room! 🎤🍣 But this location takes it to another level with their new Chubby Tea—unlimited milk tea, anyone?! 🧋I tried the $65 Gold Tier (one of their 3 options: Silver, Gold, and Diamond), and the quality is top-tier!
They even have Wagyu Nigiri, Wagyu Handrolls, and a whole Wagyu Curry stand in the middle of the restaurant! 🍛 Don’t miss their Japanese sterilized eggs, perfect with Wagyu! These eggs are so clean and high-quality, you can eat them raw safely. 🥚✨

Have you ever been to Tokyo’s 2D Cafe? 🇯🇵✨
Japan is renowned for its themed cafes, but this one is truly unique—it’s entirely black and white! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I had been transported into a manga. 🖤🤍
Every detail, from the chairs and tables to the pillows, is designed to look hand-drawn, creating a surreal 2D effect. Even their cakes look like they belong on the pages of a comic book! 🎂 How cool is that?
Located just a 3-minute walk from JR Shin-Okubo Station, the cafe offers a variety of cakes, all priced at 770 yen. I especially loved the sweet potato tart and the lemon shaved ice (1280 yen)—both were delicious! 🍠🍋
This cafe is not only a fun culinary experience but also a cute Instagram spot. 📸 Pro tip: Dress in black and white to match the cartoon aesthetic for the perfect photo op! Don’t forget to check them out on Instagram at @2dcafe_shinokubo ❤️
If you’re in Tokyo and love yakiniku, @29terrace near Yoyogi Station is an absolute must-visit! Just a 3-minute walk from the station, this spot blew me away with its quality, flavors, and affordability.
The highlight of my visit was the massive wagyu beef boat, featuring five different cuts—tri-tip, boneless short rib, flap meat, rump, and chuck flap. Each piece was beautifully marbled, lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, and perfectly tender. Every bite was bursting with flavor! All I needed to pair with it was a bowl of fluffy rice to soak up all the goodness. 🍚🔥
Another standout dish was the green onion-wrapped sirloin. The waiter cooked it to perfection, and the seasoned green onions added the perfect savory touch. Dipped in creamy egg yolk and paired with rice, it was pure perfection in every bite! 🥚🌿
Even the small details made a difference here—the carrot dipping sauce for veggies was a unique and refreshing touch, and any leftovers can be turned into a smoothie (how cool is that?). 🥕🥤
The staff were super attentive, helping with cooking and ensuring everything was just right. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you’re getting, making this a total gem in Shibuya.
If you’re a wagyu lover, don’t walk—run to 29 Terrace! I promise you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

This hidden gem in Diamond Bar has been serving incredible BBQ for 10+ years, and lunch is only $28! 😮
Looking for AYCE BBQ that’s stood the test of time? @bbqstop in Diamond Bar has been grilling up greatness for over a decade!
As a big foodie, I went for Tier C ($48) for access to premium items like filet mignon, ribeye, and scallops. The quality of their cuts really impressed me! Just look at that bone-in hand-cut short rib—so tender and flavorful. My favorite has to be the marinated cube meat; it was incredibly tender with the perfect seasoning.
They also have plenty of sides, including Korean ramen. Pro tip: ask for their special sauces! I’m obsessed with the green sauce. And to top it all off, you get free ice cream 🍨 at the end! BBQ Stop is definitely worth it for the quality, variety, and years of experience. I’ll definitely be back with friends!
