SOIL SAMPLING

Soil sampling is a analysis of soil or testing to determine the the nutrient. Sampling it is true presentation of the area sampled.

SAMPLE TOOLS: Aunger, Tube, Spade, Bail.
SAMPLE PREPARATION: Mix various cores or slicates to gether in plastic container and take sample to be put sample bag, should be 1 or 2 cups of soil which is taken from well mixed composite 10-12 random in location in the field.

SAMPLE AREA: Generally not more than forty acres, smaller acreage may be sample. When the soil is not uniform through out the field

SAMPLE DEPTH: Tillage method, conventional plow down.
Reduced tillage are 3-4cm
Ridges is 6cm

CROP SOIL SAMPLING: Are taken at the depth where the main root system exists. Sample depth should not more than 3-6inch and occumulated organic material from surface.
