Let's talk about a fail. I was trying a gluten free banana pancake recipe and how we ended up eating scrambled eggs with ham. Let's just say the pancakes were not picky eater approved. Lol. In the trash they went.

Anyone else have a kiddo with food aversions and does not like typical breakfast foods? Hmmm maybe just me. This is what he wanted for breakfast today, this is what he was willing to eat, so this is what he got. In our defense we had breakfast for dinner last night. Also, this is not a typical breakfast here but today it was.

Do you know why I hate bees? Because they are rude. I was sitting at the pool minding my own business watching the kids swim and along comes some bee with an attitude and it felt the need to sting me on the top of my foot.

Kids are going to camp today. I know the other 2 will be fine but I'm in tears right now worrying about Ryder and how he is going to handle it. There are so many kids and loud and chaotic. I informed them that if he doesn't know what to do he will wander so hopefully they keep a good eye on him. I wouldn't even send him but I want him to be included too.

Just a boy and his bubbles. This is how he views the world. Simple, magical, a giant clear bubble full of lots of colors. How the world views him: Black and white with misconceptions of what makes him tick. Autism is a spectrum, a spectrum of colors, intensity, a spectrum of their thought process, their feelings, their beautiful heart. Autism is just like this bubble he made, all unique, big, small, round, oblong and just because the bubbles are all very different does not mean they are not a bubble.

I see so many people in general complaining about their neighbors shooting off fireworks. I have to work in the morning, my pets are scared, etc. It is 1 time a year or maybe a weekend long. There are people that do enjoy them. I, on the one hand have a grandkid with Autism who does not do good in public situations and does not like the loud noises so when our neighbors shoot off fireworks I do not complain and say I have an Autistic child that does not like them because I take precautionary measures like keeping him in the house or putting headphones on him. I have 2 other grandkids that do like them and they do not get to go to the city fireworks because their brother cant handle it so I appreciate our neighbors shooting them off so at least they get to see fireworks too. Everyone has problems such as having to work, pets or even an Autistic child but it is not all one sided so just take measures because it happens every year and you know its coming. Thats all.
