LATE CAPITALISM///NEURAL DECAY

Lightning Safe Homes is a small press/record label/miscellany archive founded in August of 2019 by Zachary Corsa (Nonconnah/Lost Trail). Based in the rural uchronia of Hickory Withe, Tennessee, LSH aims to publish creative works from the most forward-thinking of Memphian and Northern Mississippian artists, photographers, writers, and most of all experimental musicians. Each edition will be painstakingly handcrafted in limited runs, and will include various organic and mechanical ephemera. Releases will be available both digitally and in physical form through Bandcamp alone. A portion of proceeds from each release will be donated to an animal/wildlife-related non-profit of the artist’s choosing. Also in the offing is a split series that will pair well-established artists with emerging ones. We’re interested in challenging, emotionally-resonant works that reflect themes of decay, memory, nostalgia, and lost time, especially any and all works related to a personal impression of the Mid-South. We are not interested in cold, sterile exercises of pretension. Our first release will be a digital and limited handmade CD-R compilation of Mid-South experimental musicians, which will be available sometime early in 2020.
