Snakes are like the coolest mix dogs and cats. This boyo is like "Thank you for cheeseboi, may I please have another? Even though I am quite thicc." It's so hard to say no to my little derpy shovel faced kid. I love him so much. Next time I've got him out on my carpet I need to remember to take video to show everyone how well he digs. I've had to temporarily relocate for a few weeks, but I got a shot of Omlet on her new favorite perch before we all moved.
If anyone ever wondered why I call Chorizo a drama noodle.
I am so very thankful I have my little bubs I was able to spend time with on Thanksgiving. I ended up catching a stomach bug the day before Thanksgiving so they were pretty much the only live things I've seen this holiday weekend. I love all my snakes so much and they make me so happy, even if my body has other ideas!
The newest addition to my collection, Omlet! She is my first female snake and is a pastel pinstripe ball python. Her breeder, Britz's Ball Pythongs, did such an amazing job of keeping her socialized. I did end up deciding that snakes make me much happier than lizards do, so I am only going to be focused on snake keeping from here on out. Bacon the Leo and Pancake were both rehomed to loving families.
Working on socialization with Bacon! He does a lot better now that he can go into the snuggle sack I have if he gets anxious. I love him so much. And I'm so glad to have him as an addition to my family.
This may look like a lot of new animals all at once but this has been a bit in the making. This is noodle number 3 for the breakfast club, hello Apple Fritter! Apple Fritter is a normal hatchling normal corn snake.
I know it's a few days late, but the candy is out of the bag! Say hello to Bacon! He is a 1 year old albino milkshake.
I don't have a favorite I swear..... Yea I do. I love Chorizo so much, he makes me so happy! Cuddling with him every day really does make me feel better. I'm so glad I brought him home.

Still shocked how chill Chorizo is. I love very orange reptiles I've discovered since both Chorizo and Pancake are very bright orange. I'm also looking for another orange reptile for my last empty cage. I love all my reptiles and I spend a lot of time with each of them every day. Thank you all for following me on my reptile ownership journey!
Today I welcomed home my first noodle with a head! This is Chorizo! He is a hatchling albino het snow Western Hognose Snake. I was like 99% excited and 1% worried he was going to be a little bitey or sassy, since he's the first hognose I've owned. But so far he's just been an inquisitive little noodle bebe, no hooding up, no playing dead. Just doing a little explore. I could not be happier.
My favorite photo taken the last time I was at .discovery! It is also a good foreshadowing of the next animal I am getting sometime soon. Can you guess which one of these two it is?
Quick update! Disabilities can strike in the strangest ways. Rain and barometric pressure changes has made my joints swell and made it very hard to move for me.

Pancake says that you can't catch them all! He is still cranky about being held sometimes. Also just loves to hang out on top of it, but that's ok! I think he would be bummed if he used it as a hide like it was meant for. Since he will eventually be able to use it like a pillow! He's already grown quite a bit since this photo!
