HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As 2025 begins, we all tend to make new goals. This year, I would like to focus on setting achievable goals that I can progressively work toward. One such goal is to post on social media every day this year. I hope you achieve whatever goals you have set for yourself in 2025.

Grapplemax 2024 Season

In December 2023, I returned to Grapplemax to face Inglorious (Endboss and Wildfire) alongside Joses in a graduation match . We took the loss, but it was a good match to gauge where I’m at after being away for some time.

Next, I faced one half of Aussie Aussie Aussie!, Shawn. His experience got the better of me, and I took another loss.

In the following match, I teamed up with Simon Siah to face the team of Aussie Aussie Aussie! With Simon’s speed and aerial superiority, we managed to pick up the win.

Simon and I teamed up again to face Mid Life Goals, but miscommunications ultimately led to us taking the loss. Simon was pi**ed about it. We went our separate ways and became rivals.

At Fight Club 4, Simon and I faced each other, with me taking the win. He then challenged me to another match inside the ring, which I accepted—but eventually lost.

To improve myself further, I went to Japan to train with PPP Tokyo for a while. When I returned for Grapplemax’s 8th Anniversary, it took just 12 seconds to tap my opponent out.

This season has closed but look forward to 2025! We are going to do big things and we will take over the world.

Jan 18, 2019 - Present Day

From my debut at Joo Chiat to where I am now, it has been a long journey. I would like to thank Grapplemax for giving me the opportunity to live my dream of becoming a pro wrestler. I never imagined that this would be something I’d pursue to the extent of leaving everything behind to study and train in a foreign country. One of the reasons I’m doing this is because I was inspired by and how he always shares his experiences from his time in Japan. In Japan, I have an amazing mentor in , who teaches me about pro wrestling almost every day, and I’m very grateful to him. I’ll be back in Singapore sometime next year, but for now, I’m going to train and study hard so that I can become the best version of myself—for me and for everyone who’s rooting for me.

新しい生活に慣れ、落ち着いてきた今、こんなことをしているなんて、本当にクレイジーだ。昨年12月にカムバックした時、Grapplemaxでより良いプロレスラーになるために時間と努力を費やしたいと思っていたけど、仕事を辞めて、それをさらに推し進めるために日本に引っ越すなんて、正気の沙汰とは思えない。今、僕はPPP東京でトレーニングをしていて、同じような考えを持った素晴らしい人たちと出会う機会を得ている。最高の自分になれるまで、毎日ハードなトレーニングに励んでいく！その過程を投稿していきます。🤙🏽

Now that I’ve settled in and adjusted to my new life, it’s quite crazy that I’m actually doing this. When I made my comeback last December, I wanted to put in time and effort into becoming a better Prowrestler for Grapplemax, but to quit my job and move to Japan to push that even further is just insane. Right now I’m training with PPP Tokyo and I’ve gotten the opportunity to meet some really awesome like minded individuals. I’ll be training hard everyday until I become the best version of myself! I’ll be posting my journey along the way 🤙🏽

Returning to Grapplemax once they shifted to the new studio, I knew I wasn’t anywhere near fit enough to do what I used to do. At the same time, when I looked at older pictures of myself, I knew that wherever I am now is no where near my prime condition.

So I decided to get fit again, get back in shape and become the best version of myself again but better!

Doing rehearsals with Grapplemax, EMS with ChargeSG and my own training I’m down 4.6% body fat. I still have quite a fair bit to go but progress is progress.

It’s never late to chase your goals or even set new ones. Work at it little by little and you will get there.

Here’s to everyone reaching one step closer to whatever it is that you are striving for!
