Across the nation, homeowners like you will be connected in the experience of living in a Stroll-worthy neighborhood. Stroll Laurelhurst and Windermere is an exclusive publication "Delivering Neighborhood Connections" through sharing resid

ent stories, photos, and happenings you’ve come to expect and enjoy. Through hyper-local, resident-submitted content, we create an avenue for these individuals to get to know local organizations, businesses, and their neighbors on a more personal level. Along with our print medium, we also provide digital avenues on which our residents can connect. The final component which makes us unique is the many events that we organize. Local restaurants, spas, salons, and more share their products and services in order to garner a face-to-face relationship with the residents of Laurelhurst and Windermere. There is no better way for a business to secure long-term success than to make the right connections.

🌟From inspiring community stories to travel adventures and delicious recipes, this month’s feature took a look back at all the wonderful stories we got to share throughout 2024! 🌟

🏠Starting with February, we got to meet the Pelascini Family. They found their dream home in Laurelhurst after searching for 2-years. They love getting to know their neighbors and enjoying the Beach Club.
🌟 Young Achiever Ellie Wagner: She is known for spreading joy with her neighbors, loves lending a helping hand, and may be seen walking their dog.
🍰 Sweet Treats with Karina Kunins: This delicious Valentine's cake featured a two-ingredient chocolate frosting that’s pure genius!
✈️ Travel Tales with the Wickens: They took an incredible 13-day journey through Thailand, from vibrant Bangkok to serene southern islands.

🏡Laurelhurst Colonial Renovation🏡

Anne and John Adams recently renovated a home built in 1941. 🛠️They refreshed the bathroom and kitchen, added a new primary suite as well as an attached garage, and lastly relocated the staircase. 🥳

They have made the space more comfortable and great for hosting.

💚 Small Changes, Big Impact 💚

This month's Making a Difference was brought to us by Ruby, a high school senior that lives in the community. Ruby shares that she has witnessed the struggles the community has had with homelessness. She wanted to find a way that she could give benefit the community and learned about The Borgen Project.

The Borgen Project, a nonprofit advocating for poverty alleviation worldwide. This organization has led her to reflect and taught her about the power of small, thoughtful choices—like skipping an indulgence and using that money to help others.✨

Laurelhurst resident, Collins, shares his favorite holiday traditions during this time of year. 🎁Some of my favorite traditions include watching the Christmas Ships light up Lake Washington, attending The Nutcracker at McCaw Hall, and reading The Night Before Christmas.⛄❄️ He loves getting to create new memories and feeling the joy.

Barb and George Akers moved to Windermere neighborhood 40 years ago. 🏡 They have been married for 59 years, have 3 children; 2 biological daughters and one adopted son, and 7 grandchildren. 💍👪 They love how friendly their neighborhood is and participating in the Windermere neighborhood events like the Christmas ships, Easter parties, and more. 🥳 Bob and George radiate gratitude through everything in life and they count Windermere near the top of their list of things they are grateful for.
