DR CONGO AND ZAMBIA REACH AGREEMENT TO DECONGEST KASUMBALESA BORDER POST: DAILY TRUCK LIMIT AND EXTENDED WORK HOURS INTRODUCED

In a collaborative effort to ease congestion at the Kasumbalesa border post, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia have reached a significant agreement aimed at streamlining cross-border trade. As part of this new measure, a limit of 500 trucks will be allowed to cross into DR Congo daily. This cap is expected to reduce long queues and improve the efficiency of goods transportation between the two nations.

Additionally, the two countries have agreed to increase working hours at the border, further facilitating the movement of goods and reducing delays. This initiative underscores the ongoing commitment of both governments to boost regional trade and improve border operations.

Authorities from both sides have expressed optimism that these measures will enhance logistics and promote economic growth by ensuring smoother and faster transit for traders and transporters.

Edgar Lungu, who later became Zambia's sixth president, was involved in a notable incident during his legal career concerning the misappropriation of a widow's funds. In the 1980s, as a practicing lawyer, Lungu was entrusted with a sum of money intended for a widow. Instead of transferring the funds to her, he misappropriated them for personal use. This act led to his suspension from the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) after being found guilty of professional misconduct.

IN TIMES OF PEACE, WE SHALL ENSURE FOOD SECURITY - ZAF COMMANDER

ZAMBIA AIRFORCE commander Lieutenant General Oscar Msitu Nyoni has stated that following the call by the Head of State and Commander in Chief President Hakainde Hichilema for intensified food production, ZAF has moved in and planted thousands of hectares of maize in Mbala, Northern Province.

"The President has been clear, and he gave marching orders that in times of peace as is now, we must all join hands in securing food for all, and this is what we are doing. We are optimistic that this maize will add to our country's food security," said Lt Gen Nyoni.

Following climate challenges, President Hakainde Hichilema has been calling for all year-round maize production, and the government is now ensuring that irrigation around water bodies is heightened for the purposes of food production.

The military men and women he keeps demeaning while plotting insurgency using his rogue ones under his group will one day feast on him and show him why they went for training.

M'membe thinks he is educated and yet we know one character who was writing all his assignments and exams at UNZA and placed that old man on some kind of allowance. To the gullible, this guy studied some courses and yet he never. He even still owes the old fellow who used to write and submit his assignments and exams while he just went through topis for general knowledge.

Below is the statement from the Zambia Police after arresting the Lungu’s and Jay Jay Banda's sangomas currently in custody while Jay Jay Banda's young brother Nelson is on the run.

APPREHENSION OF TWO MALE SUSPECTS: JASTEN MABULESSE CANDUNDE (MOZAMBICAN) AND LEONARD PHIRI.

December 20, 2024-The Zambia Police Service, in collaboration with the Department of Immigration and the Anti-Terrorism Unit, successfully apprehended two male suspects during an operation conducted in Lusaka. The suspects have been identified as:

Mr. Jasten Mabulesse Candunde, aged 42, of Maravia in the Republic of Mozambique.
Mr. Leonard Phiri, aged 43, of Kafewa village, Chief Nyanje in Sinda District.

The suspects were found in possession of assorted charms, including a live chameleon, and are alleged to be practicing witchdoctors.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that they were engaged by Nelson Banda who is currently on the run, the younger brother of Emmanuel Jay Banda.

Their purported mission was to use charms to harm the Head of State, His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema.

The suspects disclosed that an initial payment of K16, 500.00 was made out of an agreed K30,000.00 as an advance payment.

The full amount promised after the ex*****on of their mission was K2,000,000.00. The suspects have been formally jointly arrested and charged for the following offenses:
Professing knowledge of witchcraft, contrary to Section 5 (a) of the Witchcraft Act, Chapter 90 of the Laws of Zambia.

Possession of charms, contrary to Section 11 (2) of the Witchcraft Act, Chapter 90 of the Laws of Zambia.

Cruelty to wild animals, contrary to Section 80 of the Zambia Wildlife Act, No. 14 of 2015, of the Laws of Zambia.

The suspects are currently in police custody and will appear in court soon. The Zambia Police Service reiterates its commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.

The public is urged to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY IN KAWAMBWA: POLICE CLOSING IN🚔

Police are very close to finding three members of parliament turned criminals who have committed any offence of aggravated ROBBERY in Kawambwa.

The three criminals attacked a UPND camp while brandishing guns and pangas and went away with phones, laptops, and money.

So far, drunkard and every man's MP Jean has been identified as one of them alongside loud mouth Mumbi Phiri who recently escaped jail.

Aggravated ROBBERY is a non bailable offence once one is locked up.

UPND Lusaka province chairman Obvious Mwaliteta was jailed over a similar case by the PF led by Edgar Lungu and the man spent years and years in jail.

Jean Chisenga, Mumbi Phiri and another named Celestine man with a horde of thugs ferried by Lungu have been targeting UPND campaign centers while committing aggravated ROBBERY.

Koswe is right now in the jacket of Edgar Lungu who is busy making calls to his thugs to cause violence here in Kawambwa.

Former Chawama member of parliament Edgar Lungu has been retired from his insatiable appetite for being a perpetual man wanting to be President of Zambia.

The ConCourt has ruled in its judgement that Edgar Lungu held office twice, sworn twice, elected twice and he cannot continue treating Zambia like his own thugs.

Can we now have a young person to lead that Tonse thing.

If you are politically shrewd, you can safely say that this is technical removal of Edgar Lungu’s immunity.

The law is clear. Two terms is two terms and not one's imaginations.
