The Tigers finished the season as the Section 2AA Runner-up after losing 3-0 to Southwest Christian. It was a tough game against a very tough team.

Belle Plaine's Section 2AA Championship match against the Southwest Christian Stars is now starting!

It's game day! The Belle Plaine Tigers pulled off an incredibly close 3-0 win over the #2 seeded LCWM Knights on Tuesday night in New Prague. All that stands between them and a return to the Class AA State Tournament are the Southwest Christian Stars.

“We have obviously been here before, but it is a very different team this year and I think we have proved the full team effort can make cool things happen. I think we are feeling encouraged,” Coach Haley Fogarty said.

For the second year in a row, the Section 2AA Championship will come down to the Belle Plaine Tigers and the Southwest Christian Stars.

Belle Plaine's school referendum will be put to the vote on Tuesday! Don't forget to exercise your rights and go to the polling location at city hall on Nov. 4!

The district will also be holding one last community meeting on the referendum TONIGHT at 6 PM at Oak Crest! Don't miss your chance to come and ask questions!

Voting day is almost here! Belle Plaine School District residents have the opportunity to vote on whether or not to approve a $65 million school referendum.

Belle Plaine will be well represented in this year's Class AA State Cross Country meet. The girls will again be sending Adriane Nelson and Kallie Thaemert, while the boys finished as the section runner-up to compete as a full team.

“We would like to place as high as we can but also know that this is the state meet so the best will be there and we are glad that we are a part of this race,” Coach Brad Pederson said.

For just the second time in program history, the Tigers boys cross country team has earned the high privilege of competing in the Class AA State meet.
