The 24 hours analysis of TV channels can show you the level of productivity these tv shows produce. Either it is entertainment or pathetic political soap operas.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐕 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?
1. The agricultural sector should be given priority at peak hours. Not only should farmers be taught new techniques, but also should they be taught to take pride in their work.
2. The rural to urban migration should be discouraged. Rural life should be the new fashion.
3. Instead of airing politicians' dirty laundry, policies on education, economy and health should be discussed.
4. Innovation in all fields should be encouraged.

It might sound a bit boring. If we as a nation want to take leave from the present turmoil, it may be a good start.

I think time has come that we (especially the youth) start looking beyond individual (trivial indeed) goals & benefits. We must aspire to live for society and the country. Even the day to day business must align with the National goals. 🇵🇰

Undoubtedly, climate change is real. However, Pakistani authorities also need to revisit the flawed development model. The uneven and skewed urban sprawling alongside the natural water pathways has disrupted the flow of water. The question is who is responsible for unauthorized construction boom? Why do we always need a catastrophe of an enormous magnitude to wake up from slumber?

1. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Pakistan received 166.8mm of rain in August, as opposed to the average of 48mm--an increase of 241%.

2. Sindh & Balochistan witnessed a 784% and 496% increase in the monsoon deluge.

3. Pakistan is going through its 8th cycle of monsoon; normally the country has only 3 to 4 cycles of monsoon rain.

According to the ECP, 6.7m are in the Gulf/ Middle East, just under a million in UK and Europe, about 290,000 in the US, 180,000 in Canada and 401,870 in other countries. Of these 5m are on Punjab’s voter lists; 2.2m in KP; 1m in Sindh; 142,325 in Balochistan and 97,744 in Islamabad.

Since inception, there has been something terribly wrong with the preferences and choices of Public policy makers regarding Pakistan's economy. The agriculture sector which was meant to be the backbone of Pak's economy has now shrunk to mere 18% of GDP from 60% in the 1960s. From food to clothing, everything is the product or byproduct of land. However, the situation is worsening day by day due to water shortage and growing food demand.

The forest fire in Balochistan's Koh-e-Suleman range has gulped down almost 40% of trees (amounts to millions), and especially the chilgoza trees which were responsible for more than 2 billion $ trade. The fire lasted for almost 15 days due to the absence of fire extinguishing resources.

What is going to happen in Supreme Court?

I think at first, SC would clear the controversy regarding the powers of Speaker & deputy speaker. Undoubtedly, they both are not supra constitutional entities. Second, the legality of the today's order would be checked. Now here it can either be declared null and void (which it should be) or SC can sanction it under the doctrine of necessity (depends on the foreign involvement conspiracy and the role of establishment) and call for a caretaker setup and new elections.

The have announced an interim government in Afghanistan, declaring the country an "Islamic Emirate".

It will be led by Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund, one of the movement's founders, who is on a UN blacklist. He is influnetial on the religious side of the movement, rather than the military side.

Women have been given no role in the cabinet, as the Taliban consider women's role in the statecraft against the Shariah Law.
