It’s time for the FAN PICK FRIDAY winner!

Y’all voted and we heard you! This week we get to talk about the band Real Rowdy! A North Carolina band that started in 2016 with 3 of the 4 current members. You can usually catch them around the triangle/Raleigh area and up in the mountains (with an App state alum in the band) but maybe it’s time to pull them into the eastern side of the state! 👀

They will be back at TOMORROW NIGHT from 8-11pm!

Their single “Carolina Moon” can be streamed on all platforms and they have plans to release a 3 song EP in early 2024 so we will be (im)patiently waiting for that!

A song they didn’t write but wish they had is Red Dirt Road (originally by Brooks&Dunn) and they are always up for a round of Coors Light or a good shot of bourbon!

• FAN PICK FRIDAY •
If you’ve been in or around the ENC music scene for any amount of time then you know the name Lonnie Britton. He’s been performing across North Carolina since 2012 and primarily plays in Greenville, Raleigh, and the coastline areas.

You can catch him TOMORROW NIGHT at closing the show for Nashville recording artist, Tyler Chambers.

He put out a single just earlier this year called Heart of Mine and he’s excited to be releasing another one in October called Coming Home to You.

A song he didn’t write but wish he had is Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd (legend)

And in his signature fashion when we asked him what drink we could buy him at a show his response was “Outlaws drink Jack Daniels” (get this man a sponsorship) he will take a cold Coors Light on the side though.

Rollin' Woods is gonna be opening up for Michale Graves (formerly of Misfits) at Hooligans Live on October 8th

See me for tickets! I'd love a good local turnout for this one, we'll be debuting some original material that fits the spooky season vibe!

This week our winner is the growing favorite around the east coast, Eric Dunlow Band! They’re a southern rock/country band that has been raising a little hell all up and down ENC for about 3 years.

They play a lot in the OBX area but you can catch their next show tomorrow at Edenton Steamers Stadium!

The first EP, Some Things Never Change, was just released at the end of July! Definitely check it out and be watching for new releases.

Two songs he didn’t write but wishes he had are Something to Talk About - Koe Wetzel and Drugs by, our very own, Cooper Greer!

This is a rowdy bunch so you can never go wrong with a round of beers or a shot of Jack when you catch a show!

•FAN PICK FRIDAY•
This week was a new and really exciting record for the number of votes and shares for fan pick Friday. And we’re really excited we get to talk about Chandler James!

He’s singing on Broadway in Nashville now, but grew up in North Carolina and has been playing music the last 5 years. He does come back to NC and play so keep an eye out for him.

His next shows around here are in Rocky Mount, Nashville (NC) and Cary!

He did release a single that we included on our new music Monday a couple of weeks ago and he just finished the vocals for THREE new songs and he’s hoping to share at least one of them with us before the end of the year!

He said he will take any drink at a show but he loves Bulleit Rye.

And one song he didn’t write but wishes he had is Queen of My Doublewide Trailer by Sammy Kershaw.
