Salt River Project (SRP) and Plus Power LLC celebrated two new grid-charged battery storage systems, Sierra Estrella Energy Storage and Superstition Energy Storage. Together, these facilities will add 340 megawatts / 1,360 megawatt-hours of additional battery storage capacity to SRP’s system — enough to power 76,000 residential homes for a four-hour period.

Opinion: Why does the city want to move the library? Mainly because the city wants to take over the library building. Once the library is ejected from the park, the city will pour large amounts of money into the building to convert it into a city hall.
