SHE ROCKS PODCAST Ep69 with LP 🎙https://www.thewimn.com/she-rocks-podcast-episode-69-lp-multi-platinum-singer-songwriter/
Multi-platinum singer-songwriter and soaring vocalist LP (they/them) became a global phenomenon in 2017 with the song “Lost On You,” which reached #1 in 18 countries. She Rocks Awards Honoree, Yvette Young
2022 She Rocks Awards Honorees Spotlight - Yvette Young! Sponsored by Sweetwater.
Yvette Young is the guitarist and writer for the band Covet. In addition to her band, she has a solo project where she plays piano, acoustic guitar, and violin. Yvette grew up classically trained in piano and violin and taught herself guitar while in the hospital.
After completing a Fine Art and Visual Performing Arts education degree at UCLA, she worked as an art teacher awhile before transitioning to a full time musician. Because of her own personal experiences with using art and music as her own personal outlets, she is a huge advocate for music as a source of therapy and songwriting as a way to build self esteem and find a voice.
The She Rocks Awards 10th Anniversary takes place Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 6:30pm. In Anaheim, California (US) during the NAMM Show 🎶 tickets and full list of honorees at: sherocksawards.com
