The Kings County Farm Bureau says it's now accepting applications for its Class of '23 scholarships until March 1, 2023.
The scholarships are open to high school students (seniors) who will be graduating this school year, and who plan to pursue higher education with a commitment to a career in the agriculture industry.
Some of the requirements include:
- Must live in Kings County OR attend high school in Kings County
- Will be going to a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university, or a vocational education institute
- Must have a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher
- Must provide high school transcript
- Must provide 2 letters of recommendation

The Kings County Farm Bureau says it's awarded more than $100,000 to students since the scholarship program began 15 years ago in 2007.
