Witness high-flying canine athletes, experience up-close encounters with farm animals, or visit adoptable cats and dogs all at the Purina Farms Visitor Center, located just 30 minutes west of St. Louis, MO. Officially opening for the 2024 season on April 20 & 21, guests who visit opening weekend will get the first look at our newly renovated Visitor Center lobby. Visit on Saturdays this season to attend our NEW magic show focused on responsible pet ownership. Open mid-April to October, Wednesday-Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Daily admission is free unless otherwise stated during a special event. We look forward to seeing you!

NEW in our Guide to Music, Dance and Performing Arts classes for kids: Piano Instruction with Abbey Hayden! Piano lessons in Ms. Abbey's studio focus on obtaining a musical education through creativity and goal-based learning. With guidance and imagination, every student is capable of creating joy through music; with grit and dedication, each student is capable of greatness.

Abbey Hayden has been an educator for 16 years, and has studied piano her entire life. Her most recent studies culminated in a Master's of Music in Piano Performance (as well as a Certificate in Piano Pedagogy) at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She now serves as a staff pianist at her alma mater. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Millikin University, with a dual concentration in Piano and French Horn. She is also a member of the Music Teachers National Association, for both the St. Louis and Gateway Arch chapters.

❤️ COCA (Center of Creative Arts) is partnering with Variety the Children's Charity of St. Louis to provide a one-of-a-kind inclusive musical theatre program in Summer 2024! Students explore the big, blue world as we rehearse and perform a stage version of the Pixar film, Disney’s Finding Nemo JR.

This partnership brings together kids and teens with and without disabilities, giving every child the chance to shine. This program will not only teach new skills, such as singing, acting, and dancing, but also foster friendships and build each child’s confidence. The show features both COCA Kids and Variety Kids to bring Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. to life! Registration for auditions, March 9–10, is now open. Register at https://varietystl.org/theatre/
