Sorry for not posting anything label-related on the label account in awhile. I’ve been busy as expanding that project’s horizons and finally getting the excuse to start an ambient/new age sister label for KNNO. Details in the first graphic (first posted on Toy Piano’s own IG a couple of weeks ago) and the artwork for LOONA (out September 1) and the instant singles COTTON and CRYSTAL (both out now).

KNNO Sounds are proud to announce the signing of Denver-based experimental rap outfit P R A P to the roster. Starting out as an all female duo of vocalist Yung Krone and vocalist/musician Emily Skyrocker, the group, with the addition of a third member, bassist Harry Starr, will be delivering material for their debut album very soon! Last night, 5 people were shot and killed in Denver and Lakewood, CO when a shooter went on a rampage. The shootings started and ended in our respective neighborhoods. It is a local issue for us as well as a national crisis.

The fallout of the mental health crisis is human. Gun violence lands on our doorsteps and hurts our communities. Our hearts are broken.

Among last night's dead is Alicia Cardenas, a local tattoo artist and beloved part of our community, depicted in this painting by Aloria Weaver. This image is shared with the original artist's permission and we find it moving in the wake of last night's senseless tragedy.

If you are moved as we are, consider donating to the fundraiser for Alicia's child, who survives her. A link is provided below.

For our part, we will donate all proceeds from the sale of our limited edition t-shirt to Alicia's family.

We stand in mourning and solidarity. We will not forget.
