The price of the chicken meat per kg increase in Karachi and is being sold at Rs 700.

The reason behind the rise in price is the shutting down many poultry forms that cause the shortage of feed.

The price also went up in other cities as well like Rawalpindi and Islamabad where it is being sold at Rs 700. In Lahore the price between Rs 550 to 600 which is relatively low.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the prize money for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.

In addition to receiving the 24 karat supernova trophy the winner will also receive the cheque of Rs 120M and the runner up will receive Rs 48M cheque.

The opening ceremony of PSL 8 will be held in Multan today on 13th Feb 2023. The opening match will be played between Multan Sultans and defending champions Lahore Qalandars.

The death toll surpasses Up to 33,000 on Sunday from the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria almost a week ago. The United Nations warning that the number of deaths maybe double in final.

Officials said that 29,605 people had died in Turkey and 3,574 in Syria total number 33,179.

The UN Emergency Relief Coordinator, Martin Griffiths, said
"We have failed the people in north-west Syria" and they " rightly feel abandoned". He further said that the people of Syria "looking for international help that hasn't arrived". My duty and obligation is to correct this failure as fast as we can. That's my focus now.

The Chinese app Tiktok has shut down its office in india almost after three years was banned in India.

Tiktok which had the second largest user base in India, was banned in 2020 over national security reasons along with other Chinese apps.

Tiktok fires all staff in India within a week and will be given a severance pay of 9 months.

Karachi- bound Allama Iqbal Express nearly escapes from major accident. The passenger train was moving from Peshawar to Karachi when the coupling joining the coaches broke suddenly, that divided train into two parts. The tragedy happens due to overspeed while the train changing the tracks.
Because of this incident the movement on the track between Karachi and Hyderabad has been suspended temporarily.
Luckily no damages so far have been reported in this tragedy.

Google is launching its own artificial intelligence chat bot known as bard, competitor of chat GPT. in a blog post on Monday, the California based company says it will soon give access to trusted testers to artificial intelligence prototype on which it will be working since last 6 years.
The company says it plans to make the service available to public worldwide in coming weeks.
Bard is powered by the company's large language model LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications).

Actress Hira Mani, Gul-e-Rana and director Nabeel Qureshi came under an attack by a group of people during a shoot at PIB colony, Jamshed Quarter Martin Road in Karachi.
Nabeel Qureshi shared a number of tweets about how his cast was harassed and robbed by mob. Qureshi said that Hira Mani, Salman Saqib Sheikh (Mani), Gul-e-Rana and many other actors were also there.
Qureshi called the officials to take stringent action against the culprits and ensure the safety of the artists.
