It's been a few months since the launch of the hugely successful Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and now Activision is back with Season 2 of the bestselling shooter, set to expand the game's capabilities even further. Lead by Gunsmith Customs, the Season 2 update will offer a host of new features and content, ensuring that players stay engaged and excited while they continue their mission to become the world’s ultimate Modern Warfare commander.

For those looking to customise their weapons, the Gunsmith Customs feature will allow players to modify and refine their gear to a far greater degree, opening up the ability to design their favourite weapons for specific combat situations. The update will provide a diverse selection of attachments and endorsements to choose from and combine, making it easier to create the setup that best suits your playstyle.

In terms of new content, players can look forward to a selection of new maps - including Breakneck, Scrapyard and Hardhat - offering fresh battlegrounds for intense battles and dynamic action. The new season will also introduce the Plunder mode, a brand-new game type that features fast-paced, highly-competitive, team-based objective-play.

For those looking to upgrade their gear, the Season 2 Battle Pass will feature 100 levels of rewards, including the new Ray Tracing Grau 5.56 weapon, along with blueprints, field upgrades and more. While players progress through the tier levels, they’ll also have access to the Battle Pass bundle, which contains 20 items, including a new operator skin, along with an array of additional extras.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 offers an action-packed experience with a range of new features and content to keep gamers engaged. With the ability to extensively customise their weapons and gear, along with a selection of fresh maps and the Battle Pass bundle, players have the chance to create their own unique warfare experience.

I was born in the late 80’s so that definitely makes me 90’s kid. I have been around gaming since the original Nintendo error. After receiving a Super Nintendo for Christmas one year gaming became a major part of my childhood. Games like Super Mario & Donkey Kong played major roles in developing my my kick ass gaming skills, or at par to say the least. The Nintendo 64 hit with golden eye, holy s**t that’s a different story for another time! The PS1, PS2, Xbox Halo era; the GOD of GAMES. Not only did LAN parties bring all my friends closer together it was a huge part of my life that I will always look back on and remember. I really started playing online shooters the most PS3, with all the Socom titles. Then call of duty, and battlefield. I am sure just like most 90’s kid gamer’s we all fall in the same categories in some form or other. I recently just started streaming, I love side projects, and staying busy. If I am not design hydrogen reactors at work, fishing, or drinking cold beer somewhere you can more than likely find me here, rocking my favorite past time. Gaming.
