As of today all previous releases from GSR001 to GSR013 MC are officially sold out. There are still some odd copies left, but with raised price for shipping etc. I will rather just bring these few tapes with me on the road.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

2023 has been a year of hiatus regarding new releases on GSR. We still have a catalogue of about 8 releases to come plus a compilation.

But, as times are now and with all prices GSR might switch to CD-format in 2024. The market for CD is something that I personally never gave up, and I started buying tapes in the early 90's, followed by vinyl and lastly CD. I have never abandoned any of the formats, but as many of you might be aware of - new vinyls today are f**ken expensive (Paid nearly 38€ with shipping, within Sweden, for the last vinyl I bought).

If you wanna make it these days as a MC-label, DIY seems to be the only way, and since the dawn of GSR there must at least 50 labels doing this nowadays doing just that.

GSR was and is a label that is 100% about quality for the bands. But everything from pressing the actual tapes to stickers and sometimed even poster have gone up pretty much 100% since GSR was started. This makes it impossible to continue and have the same quality releases as we have had until now.

What we have at GSR have to offer is a unique to revive something that was lost in time. And hopefully you will still support us even if it will be in CD-format.

PS: There will still be an occational MC release.

And on that note we need to clean some stock before re-launching Graveless Souls Records in 2024 so here is a great deal!

For those unfamiliar with PROFUNDI, it is a side-project of Jens Rydén (ex. Naglfar, Thyrfing). Soundwise this album sounds like a continuation of the Diabolical/Sheol-era of Naglfar, but also with a sound of its own.

It has been a while since we posted anything. We do however assure you that Graveless Souls Records is not going anywhere. So hope you will bear with us on this rant.

As the label is run out of the pure passion for spreading great releases and not for financial gain, we have felt an impact from everything that is going on around the world. Manufacturing costs are far from what they used to be to begin with.

We do although have one last MC that will see the light of day during 2023. More news coming shortly hopefully!

As for 2024, we still have about 4-5 exclusive releases in the pipeline, ready to be launched. Everything from old material dating back to early 90's as well for officially unreleased material from the 00´s.

PS: All prices for available titles in stock have been reduced.
PS2: Trying to photograph things in a household with five cats has its challenges.

The arrival of the apocalypse is near.

Less than 9 days left until the official release of Profundi - "The Omega Rising" MC on 25 November.

Here are some mixed words about this release from the past:

"Much is reminiscent of old Naglfar, although the anthemic melodies (which lay in the guitar work) are largely absent. That's why Jens' solo work can't quite keep up with his earlier Naglfar highlights . Nevertheless, as a Black Metaller, you shouldn't ignore this disc." 8/10 - Rock Hard (GER)

"The Omega Rising is a proud testament to what made the Scandinavian originators so groundbreaking." 8/10 - Blabbermouth (US)

"The whole thing lasts less than forty minutes and all this time "The Omega Rising" holds the mouth close to the loudspeakers, not even for a moment boring, not irritating. Oh, a good album - not to f**k up, but not crazy either." 8.5/10 - Masterful Magazine (PL)

"Even though I suspect there is no competition between Profundi and Naglfar I have to score The Omega Rising to Pariah as 1 to 0. Profound Lore Records scored a coup with Profundi, and even though one can’t speak bad of the dead, this is what many thought reborn Dissection would sound like." 91/100 - Metalreviews.com

Anyway, some of the Google translate might not have worked so good here. But if your looking for a razor sharp black metal attack this is the tape to get to judge it for yourself.

As for the bad news, Graveless Souls Records will take a small hiatus. Covid-19, prices going up insanely, inflation etc.

GSR is a label that will never compromise on the quality of the releases. There will be no home-dubbed tapes, Xeroxed inserts etc.

But to leave on a good note, GSR will still do one more MC release during 2022 before the hiatus. More news coming soon!

The KVAEN tapes have left the printing company.

The weekend has also been spent on doing a blueprint for rest of the releases during 2022. As it looks now there will be 7 releases in total this year which is same as last year. But, this is of course only possible if the tapes keep selling, so thank you for your support!

Some of this years releases may or may not include re-releases of some stuff found in this part of my collection of old 90's tapes 😉

Thank you for all the pre-orders of the KVAEN tape so far.

Tapes are in production at the moment and I am 100% confident that these will come out perfectly since I've used the same company since the start.

Speaking of, the printing company for the posters (A3-size) and Stickers (9.5 x 9.5 cm) have arrived and look great.

GSR010 - Zornheym tape is also selling rather well. So if you haven't ordered your copy yet, do it!
Sound-wise that tape is a beast.
