Last week my brother dropped his new album “We Still Got Time” I have been going on this musical journey with Chill for over 8 years. The growth he has shown is amazing. Not just as a rapper, but as a person. When people ask me “what is my favorite music to work on?” My answer is always “I love making music with my friends” That’s what we did on this album. Wow… I’m not going to lie, I did not see this one coming. Anyone that knows me knows my love for rock music. Classic rock, alternative, Grunge, Hair metal, all of it. I think back to my days playing in a band in high school. Back to my millions of hours playing guitar hero. To have the chance to continue the often overlooked legacy of Black people in rock music is nothing short of amazing.

But no seriously. A true blessing. At 27 to not only record, but Mix 17 songs, Produce 1 (CS) and Co-Produce 2 (Patience & Aye) on a #1 album INSANE! A true testament to hard work, patience, sacrifice, and determination.
I think back to being in the basement making songs. Crying because I couldn’t figure out how to use Pro Tools. Never thought I would make it here so soon!

March 28 2020 I got a call that would change my life and career forever. That call would take me all around the country, even to different countries to craft this masterpiece that is the . In that time we made Pluto x Baby Pluto. We made Red & White. We did features. We got nominated for Grammys. We had . We went viral. We sold out shows.
And here we are 3.5 years later. On the eve of the first hip hop album to go #1 in 2023. I am full of so many emotions. Happiness, sadness, joy, relief, excitement, and so many more. This journey has been full of my highest highs and lowest lows. I’ve made and lost friends and partners. I’ve turned idols into mentors and friends. But most importantly, I grew up. I grew up as a man and as an engineer.
I just want to say thank you. Thank you for every friend that listened to me complain. Thank you to every partner that supported me. Thank you to my team for always having my back.
