How it all began...

We have been playing Roblox Dungeon Quest (DQ) for a little over 9 months now. It was thought that we were running a YouTube channel since we’re great at the game. Our main characters are now level 170 while most of our alts are all above level 165. Many fellow players thought we were botting in order to be so high level without any in-game passes. Sadly and gladly, we’re not that tech savvy. Where is the fun if not for the challenges? About 10 months ago, someone dear to us was conned out of his Roblox account, Leonidas5370. He was playing Superpower Training Simulator and the perpetrator posed as a good Samaritan who had offered to help him level up his account. Leonidas5370’s family was not keen on having him playing game, so the account was set up without any email accounts associated with it. Being the trusting and inexperience person that Leo was, he lost his account. (Side note: it was a good lesson for Leo since it’s still a small price to pay to learn about the bad elements existing in our world). TV_1025 and TotoVy87 decided to help “power level” Leo back with a different account. I made sure this new account, xxnightmare_hunterxx (xxnightmare), got tied to an email account this time. That was how we discovered Dungeon Quest, xxnightmare was really into the game at the time. Initially, it was only TotoVy that helped xxnightmare and his brother, babymeow121 (meow), to level his account, but it got to be very gruesome. TV_1025 offered to help and that’s how we started.

Before the age of Raids, we duo (and sometime as trio) all of the dungeons by ourselves. We have another friend, gacon4x (aka Chicken Little), who used to play with us a lot. However, due to the time zone difference between Asia and the US, we’ve stopped playing together. gacon4x moved on to play Bee Swarm on a new account for one reason or another as bepok68. Back to the story at hand, how we ran the dungeon with just the two of us, most of the time was that we would run on Insane mode until we get better gear, while carrying and leveling up our friends (gacon4x, xxnightmare, & meow) & alts as leechers. At our first opportunity to duo/trio a dungeon in Nightmare mode, we would do so immediately to obtain better gear and slowly add our alt accounts, one at a time, as dungeon time would permit. It was fun to figure each dungeon and optimize our game play (due to the time constraint), and DQ offers a lot of that sort of challenges that one would have to use some grey matter to figure and tweak.

DQ came out with Boss Raid for players levels 130-139. It was then that we were forced to come out of our duo-carrying mode and collaborate with other players. This mode allowed us to befriend some of the most awesome players in game (who are also amazing people in real life). We would like to give shout outs to Airpack129, JNinjahero, Tealt, obecalb, eseklund, firerange2529, notjaes, SuperStar0023, kedmomm, rollnum21 and other friends who aren’t as active in the DQ scene anymore - iiSolunar, iSymphony, davanfry, Jhaysie07 and many others whom I cannot recall from the top of my head. While I am here, also a shout out to bueler & company and WetFartosis whom we & Chicken Little used to play Bee Swarm Simulator with. The Stick Bug glitch patch killed it for us, we couldn’t get decent amulet from him anymore.

About our alts, we didn’t always have alt accounts playing. These accounts served as storage during the Undworld era when it first came out and we didn’t have the inventory space upgrade as we do now. Prior to leveling up these alts, it was just us two most of the time and the three friend accounts (nightmare, meow, and gacon). It was the frustration of having very poor loot rate in Ghastly Harbor that prompted us to level up five alt accounts at the time (1st generation alts). We leveled them up from 1-115 within 3 days and have them tag along for better chance of getting decent loots. Sadly, the RNG seldomly gave us anything decent, but we are extremely coin wealthy. An opportunity arise (I found another device to run Roblox), so we leveled up another alt to ensure there is no breakage in the numbering sequence of the alts. Then one of our fellow player cleaned up his office, and so did we. We found some more devices to run Roblox, hence another wave of alt leveling took place. One of the 3rd gen alt was given to one of our gaming friend for better loot drop. I would say, it’s more like a loan, since the account is still tied to our email account. Should the friend ever decide to quit DQ, we’d still have access to alt account to give to someone else instead of being lost in cyberspace. Meanwhile, we are still leveling the 3rd gen alts up and also help another friend’s alt to be 155 to prepare for the upcoming dungeon, whenever that will be....
