🤔 What is this doing way out here??

📍 Rovey’s Needle Trail is located just outside of Parker, AZ and is considered a difficult hike at 3.7 miles with over 1,000 elevation gain. The landscape was stunning between the canyon walls and open views of the high desert.

Then all the sudden you come upon Rovey’s Needle and you think, how did this get here?!?!

Is this Arizona’s best natural hot spring?

💦 Arizona Hot Spring aka Ringbolt Hot Spring requires a 6 mile hike, but trust us, your effort will be worth the reward!

We really enjoyed the incredible 4-tiered hot spring pools, but the hike itself was beautiful with red rock canyon walls and stunning views of the Colorado River. After you’re done soaking in the healing powers of the hot spring, walk down a couple hundred yards to jump in the river to cool off 😎

💦 Explore the Arizona Hot Springs!

🥾 Sometimes you’ve got to put in some work to find cool places like this. The 6 mile hike thru White Rock Canyon wasn’t easy but the reward was amazing!

This remote natural hot spring is tucked away within beautiful canyon walls and has 4 separate pools of varied temps. We loved this place so much spent hours enjoying the natural healing properties of the hot springs 🥰

💦 Experience Lake Havasu, Arizona!

Sure, Lake Havasu City is a place to find the party but there are a ton of other things to do around town and outdoors. We wanted to take a shorter road trip to test our welded RV frame so we decided Lake Havasu would be a good destination being only 30 miles from our home base in Parker.

Lake Havasu is one of the few places we’ve visited more than once. In fact, we love it so much this will be our 4th time! Somehow though, we always forget to check the calendar and end up visiting during either Memorial Day weekend or college Spring Break (which was again the case this time 😂). Yes, we tried to party with the youngsters a little bit but the rest of our Lake Havasu experience looked a little different than the past and we are excited to share some fun things to do around town!

We dove deep in SARA’s crack!

🥾 ‘The Crack’ is one of Lake Havasu’s most popular hikes and is located in SARA Park, a hot spot of outdoor fun. This 5 mile moderate hike takes you down thru beautiful slot canyons to the Colorado River with an incredible view of Balancing Rock when you reach the water.

Arizona? Is that you!? 🥶

Yes it actually snows in parts of Arizona! There’s actually a few places to hit the slopes in AZ. We had only previously driven thru Flagstaff so we decided to take a couple of days to check it out.

⛷️ Ski season is short in AZ but the end of January was the perfect time to get up to the Arizona Snowbowl. In fact, the day we arrived it had snowed 8 inches ❄️ so the conditions were perfect.

We went on a Monday and it was packed but we rented all our equipment and got lift tickets for less than $170 for the day. Pretty affordable!

🏔️ While the resort has 55 trails and 8 lifts, we stuck to the easy stuff (Victoria’s 5th time skiing - she killed it btw). Had a blast shredding the slopes and getting cozy with some drinks and snacks in the lodges. We highly recommend a visit to if you’re visiting Flagstaff in the winter!

🎄🥂 What is more Christmas than 3 floors of Xmas decorations and booze?

📍 Frosty’s Christmas Bar in Times Square is only open in December (normally a place named Bacalls). They go all out with every floor decorated from top to bottom. 🎅 Santa and his elves can be found shaking b***y and taking shots with the crowd. To say we had a Jolly good time would be an understatement 💚 ❤️

Also, check out our NYC Xmas Sleigh we rented for the trip into the city 🚘 There wasn’t anywhere to park the Big Gas Truck in Times Square.

A walk through this charming historic town will give you a European village feeling with Victorian architecture living the streets. During the holidays it transforms into Christmas town PA! 🎅

Originally called Mauch Chunk the town was later renamed after early 20th century Olympian and multi-sport athlete, Jim Thorpe. With small town vibes, a destination for mountain sports and LeHigh Gorge State Park, this place is a great Pocono Mountain getaway not far from New Jersey!

🚂 All aboard the Christmas Train! 🎄

The LeHigh Gorge Scenic Railway turns into a Christmas themed train ride during the holiday season. Departing from Jim Thorpe, the train ride takes you thru the beautiful surroundings of LeHigh Gorge State Park.

The holiday themed ride includes Christmas music, sweet treats from the staff, and a special appearance from the big man in red! 🎅

This train ride was one of the many reason we wanted to visit Jim Thorpe, PA in the Pocono Mtns which is Pennsylvania’s most visited town during the holiday season!

👀 Is this NJ’s best scenic view?

This week we are heading to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (sometimes called the DWG). The Delaware Water Gap encompasses nearly 70,000 acres of breathtaking scenery along 40 miles of the Delaware River, which winds through the Pocono Mountains. The DWG features waterfalls and many outdoor activities, including canoeing, hiking, camping, swimming, biking, cross-country skiing, fishing and more.

Did we accidentally find NJ’s most charming small town?

📍 Looking for the perfect New Jersey day trip? Lambertville, NJ might be just the spot for you! This charming town is tucked along the Delaware River, just across the bridge from its sister town New Hope, PA (equally as charming).

Lambertville is regarded as NJ’s antique store capital. Its streets are lined with colonial style homes, local shops and eateries. Take a stroll across the bridge to New Hope, PA which has even more shopping and restaurants. We were lucky enough to visit during Lambertville’s Holiday Festival which had live music & local vendors.

⛵️Land ho! That’s what they say right?!

🎄Christmas night of 1776 George Washington & his soldiers crossed the Delaware River enroute to several victories over the British, which would help turn the tide of the American Revolution 🇺🇸

📍 Washington Crossing State Park is the sight of this faithful night. The park is actually on both the NJ & PA sides of the river with history, re-enactments, hiking and more.
