Sikh religious event 'Joti Jot' was held from 20 to 22 Sep under overall resp of ETPB. Global Noble Management Engineering (GNME) provided round the clock administrative support during the event which was attended by approximately 4500 Yatrees. The event was comprehensively covered by both foreign and local media. Yatrees and visitors were more then satisfied with the arngs.
The event turned out to be a significant step towards fostering and promoting inter-faith harmony.

As worship places across the country have been gradually opened for public, alongside Masajid, churches and temples, Darbar Sahib Kartarpur has been reopened for Sikh Naam Levaas to perform their religious obligations. Darbar Sahib was closed for Sikh Pilgrims as well as visitors due to Coronavirus pandemic since 15 March 2020. Few glimpses of devotees performing their religious deeds after reopening of Darbar.

UN Secretary General visited Darbar Sahib Kartarpur (DSK)

United Nations Secretary General (UNSG) António Guterres visited Darbar Sahib Kartarpur (DSK) on 18 Feb 2020. He was received by Minister of Religious Affairs, DG South Asia (MOFA), Chairman ETPB, DG Rangers Punjab, Civil Administration and Project Director of DSK project.
The UNSG visited Gurdwara Complex where he was briefed by the Project Director regarding construction of Corridor by Frontier Works Organization with state of the art facilities for visiting pilgrims and adherence to religious sentiments and rituals. He visited project area including Bhai Ajeeta Jee Bazar, Zero Point, Border Terminal and Gurdwara Complex by bus. He specially visited Sarover where he performed Sikh Religious ritual of Chola.
Before departure the Secretary General shared his sentiments while acknowledging unprecedented Pakistan Government initiative. While declaring Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Corridor as the best symbol of interfaith harmony, religious tolerance and world peace.
