007 A ROAD TO A MILLION: EPISODE 1 REVIEW.

I will be honest I don't have a lot of time for reality tv shows , and despite the 007 looming over this, it is just that. A show where several people are tested to the limits , travelling across the globe, (Bond locations) to discover clues to answer questions that would win them money. There are nods to the Bond franchise, most notably the soundtrack and locations, all from the Craig era, and of course the Controller played by Brian Cox, heavily inspired by Blofield. The most memorable moment of episode 1 is when they have to measure a large python. I assume as the money they win is higher, then so will the challenges, all Bond inspired. Apart from this there is nothing that connects it to the Bond franchise, and if it didn't have the 007 logo then it would be simply another reality show. It's a polished production throughout, the money is on the screen, it's a shame that it wasn't put towards a further Bond film. It's nothing special, light entertainment that offers little for Bond fans.

This is the right time for a Nolan directed movie. He's a brilliant director who can blend a mixture of action and character development into a intriguing movie, adding his own fingerprints to the series is in my opinion one way to keep the franchise fresh and alive for a new era. If I were the producer I would be snapping him up.

A sneaky spy (no pun intended) told Deuxmoi that the next person to fill 007’s shoes is none other than Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

The British babe is best known for his roles in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Godzilla and Kick-Ass.

“Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the next Bond,” the unnamed source wrote.

“A mini trailer of just him doing the famous Bond shot is going to be released March / April 2023 to announce him as the new actor.”
