We found these cool seats in the rock formations at Colorado National Monument and now I have officially added this to my bucketlist. Im gonna hike up in dark with coffee and breakfast. Then watch the sunrise sitting in these little cubbies 😁

I really am falling in love with Grand Junction, CO. 🧡

As ya'll know, we travel constantly and we don't have a home base. We have stayed in dozens of cities and Grand Junction has been my favorite--BY FAR. I could see us living here permanently someday.. (not anytime soon 😉 because there's still so many places i wanna see) BUT, it definitely is on my list of "possible home bases"

We went on a hike called "Wedding Canyon Trail" and it was breathtaking. It's our first hike while being in Grand Junction, CO so I think we chose well! It was one of those trails that make you want to stop every 10 feet because the cliffs start changing right before your eyes. 💙❄ loving GJ so much!

I really hate Instagram and Facebook.
-
I seriously do. I hate that it feels like I have to be on the platforms. That I have to have an account. They are such huge applications that if you're not active on them, you're weird.
-
I don't enjoy going through Instagram. It feels like a chore. I only do it because of my business and my YouTube. And since I run a media production company, I need to have an online presence so clients can get to know me better. It makes sense. And it's great for that. But, my goodness... It's a bore.
-
I think Instagram is fake and I think Facebook is turning into only political posts that I have ZERO care to see...
-
The only parts I enjoy are the photos and the videos that I can create. I love taking a photo and editing it. I love shooting random clips and turning it into an entertaining video. And when I really love something, I want to share it with people. I love that I can meet people through the platforms and hang out with them in real life. I love that I can meet someone on the other side of the globe and still stay in contact with them. So that part of Facebook and Instagram, I enjoy.

But, I think I can truly say that if Facebook and Instagram went away forever, I wouldn't be upset. I may be one of the only people who feel this way, and that's fine. I know there are so many great things that social media has brought into all of our lives.
-
I don't think social media is going anywhere any time soon. We've become addicted to it as a society and honestly, it's too much of a moneymaker for it to just vanish. But, man... I do miss the days when it didn't run our lives as much as it does now.

I've been learning a lot lately about photography/videography/video editing. And I feel like I was in the biggest slump for the longest time about wanting to learn new things. I had zero desire to learn anything new. But lately, I've been falling in love with learning again and it feels SO GOOD!

I'm not really that scared of heights but it definitely had me a little scared. I wasn't really scared for me, I just saw a lot of people standing so close to the edge, it was making me freak out lol

I saw one girl crawl her way out there because she didn't trust herself to walk to the edge. I totally felt that way. It was SO TALL!

Mineral mountains make for the most beautiful mountains! These mountains are so unique and I haven't seen anything like this. We rode around with a friend and got to explore this area. And what was even cooler, is that we were the ONLY ones there! We had these mountains completely to ourselves.

Huge rocks perfectly placed to make a cave!

This is in Milford, Utah. Truly, a really unique area. I found these huge boulders intriguing and terrifying at the same time. It felt like it would just take a budge and they all would come crumbling down.

There were even petroglyphs here! I could just feel the history walking through all of these.

Have you ever been on a hike and you've decided that it's short enough so you don't need to bring water? That is what happened here.
-
This hike is only 1.2 miles in and 1.2 miles out. BUT, with nearly 1000ft elevation gain. We clearly underestimated how uphill 1000ft is. 🤦‍♀️

ROOKIE MISTAKE!

We were fine going up and at the top, but on the way down it hit us hard. Our first stop after the hike was a 7/11 and we chugged like 2 liters of water 🤦‍♀️😳

He is my best friend and cares for me more than I sometimes feel I deserve. He's calm and listens to my "feelings" even when they're wacko.

The best spot to see the sunset in Salt Lake City, Utah +TIPS😍

There's this little hike called Ensign Peak that overlooks Salt Lake City.
•
It offers 360 views and is truly breathtaking.
•
I brought a blanket and just sat and watched the sun go down until it was completely dark.
•
PERFECT way to end the day 😍
•
Tips:
1. You can park along the street but not after 10pm! The hike closes.
2. Bring a blanket, a drink, and a snack and enjoy your time up here 😍
3. Stay until the sun goes ALL the way down. Don't leave prematurely, the real color changes happen once the sun is set.
4. Follow the marked trail up to Ensign Peak. Try not to wander off on other trails. The marked path is the easiest 😁
