Excitement and jubilation in Kasese as subjects gear up to receive the Rwenzururu King, Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere, who has been away for almost 7 years after he was detained in December 2016 following clashes in the kingdom's capital of Kasese.

The Omusinga and Nyabaghole (Queen) are expected to address Omusinga's subjects at Gold Course in Bulembia Division.

They'll later in the evening host a Royal Dinner at Margherita Hotel for selected guests. Senior Government officials have not been invited to Omusinga's homecoming ceremony but have been invited for the Coronation anniversary slated for 19th October 2023

An Open Letter to Mr. Kule Muranga Joseph the Current Rwenzururu Kingdom Premier.

We bring you hearty greetings from the subjects of this mighty Kingdom. We would like to take this singular honour to congratulate you upon your appointment.

This congratulatory message would have come in handy on the day of your appointment. We regret the fact that by the time you came into office the team had taken what we call sabbatical leave.

We are alive to the fact that you are the current leader guiding the entire Kingdom since the King is still under state investigations and holding.(Prison)

We are all aware that since the palace attacks of 2016, many ( unquantifiable) lives of the Banyarwenzururu and Banyarwenzururukali have never been the same.

It would be a score below the belt that we would bother to remind the world that several lives were lost during the attacks. Notably, hundreds were arrested some of whom have since been released.

We are disappointed that since our people got challenges a clique of self pronounced leaders from the Kingdom, turned themselves into self-seekers who have been stealing money from the most disadvantaged in this matter.( families of those in prison)

The Dream Team Crew is on record having done a whistle blowers role to chase some officials who had made it their job to steal from the Kingdom subjects that were having their relatives in prison. (We need not mention names as of now since these know themselves).

It's at this point that we address you Mr. Prime Minister. It has come to our notice that on several occasions a section of the Kingdom subjects have trusted you with funds, seeking to meet the cost of justice for those in prison.

You and your team reached out to the general public to collect money to facilitate the release of the subjects that are remaining in prison. You and your team first approached these subjects and demanded for a whole sum of 150k per person in prison from their families.

The reason was to facilitate the bail process. For everyone's information, the said subjects have never been brought to any court of law or before any judicial officer on matters of bail application.

You recall running some adverts on some local radio stations over the same. Truth be told there was nothing in line with the bail application, since the accused person's have never been brought before any court of justice.

On the second attempt and more recently, you approached the same families asking for another UGX 150000(one hundred and fifty thousand shillings ) in the name of transportation of the victims.

You very well circulated a list of 49 of the victims under prison custody. You went ahead and set yourself some timelines as to when your promise of releasing or your bail applicants would reach their families.

We are disturbed by the fact that your deadline for the return of these people has far passed. Secondly, the people from whom you got some money are not comfortable by the fact that you have all-over sudden gotten busy.

When they call you, you are either in a meeting or busy or you are not getting them due to network challenges. Unfortunately this was not the case before they sent you the little they could afford to "procure" justice for their loved ones.

The million dollar question is what happened? When was the bail for the people you purportedly paraded? What was the outcome! Did the State ask for some time to respond to your application?.

However, by your actions, it looked like the bail was granted hence you asking for transport for the applicants, what happened? May you come out and categorically clear the air on these aspects.

The understanding of Democracy in Bundibugyo district.

My name is Mujungu Charity , I'm 33yr old now. My place of birth, origin, growth, residence and education is Bundibugyo district.

My experience of Bundibugyo district Democracy.

It is throughout history that democracy in Bundibugyo district is understood in the perspective of the Bamba Babwisi leading in every thing as if they are the most;
1. Bright
2. Wise
3. Human
4. Legitimate
5. Experienced and Educated.

Democracy in Bundibugyo district is when;

1. Omubwisi Mwamba will always be the most competent to lead as chairperson L.C V and the appointment of the vice chairperson to the Mukonzo on choice of he/she who can sheeply dance on every tune plaid by the Bamba.
2. If there is no Mwamba Mubwisi to fill a civil service position, despite several other competent natives, the position is rendered none existent.
3. Democracy in Bundibugyo is when the minority suppresses the majority.
4. Democracy in Bundibugyo district is when inequality is synonymous to equality. Exercise of equality under discrimination. I'm still making research to find out whether Bundibugyo district is by history led under affarmative democracy in favor of the Bamba Babwisi against other tribes living there.
Far most, in the Democracy of Bundibugyo district, it's tribalism when you talk about tribal inequality and imbalance and peace championship when u either keep quiet and watch the majority suffocating their lives in the squeeze of the minority, or even when u talk in defense of the minority Bamba Babwisi.

Implications in this understanding of Democracy;

1. Under development due very poor service delivery and compromised commerce.
2. Parmanent hatred between communities, Hence endless conflicts
3. Brian drainage and lastly total poor living conditions to both the victims and victimizers.

Hon. Kibanzanga Christopher on the run over Electoral petition charges.

The former minister of state veterans and the immediate former mp for Bughendera constituency the Hon. Christopher Kibanzanga Taban is said to be currently on the run after the Bughendera county MP Hon. Acrobat Kiiza Moses successfuly secured a warrant of arrest against him for failing to pay his money amounting to 300m that was awarded to him by court after defeating him in the Bughendera county electoral petition in the fortportal high court.

It should be remembered that after the January 2021 elections, the Hon. Christopher Kibanzanga petitioned high court seeking court to annul the election of Hon. Acrobat as mp for Bughendera county and order for fresh elections a case that he lost with costs of 300m awarded to both Acrobat and the electoral commission.

Kibanzanga has since failed to pay this money something that prompted Acrobat to secure a warrant of arrest against him.

Last week, Kibanzanga while on burials in Harugale subcounty of Bundibugyo district survived an arrest and escaped narrowly and is said to have hidden at a friend's home before escaping to some unknown destination yet though sources reveal he could be hiding in kasese and has since stopped appearing in public.

Further reports indicate he was a student of UCU Kampala Campus, who was just in Makerere to support a friend's political cause.

Patients and medical workers at Kakindo Health Centre IV in Kakumiro District are horrified after a 38-year-old mother of six who was attending to her two sick children, was kidnapped from the health facility in the wee hours of Thursday morning, r***d and killed.

Constance Kyasimiire’s body was discovered half-buried in a garden in Kyakachwende cell, Kakindo town council hours after she went missing following a frantic search by her husband and other residents.

Kyasimiire’s husband, Mr Christopher Twinamasiko who had stayed home with their other children said he got a distress call at around 1am on Thursday alerting him about his missing wife.

He joined the search team throughout the night only to stumble on his wife’s body several hours later.

Dr Nicholas Tumwesige, Kakindo Health Centre IV in-charge said the security personnel at the health facility got concerned after noticing that Kyasimiire had gone missing for hours and her children were crying.

He said he immediately alerted police which arrived at the facility and mobilised a search team.

‘‘I was informed about a missing patient attendant from the children’s ward at around 3am by the security guard. We found her shoes at the latrine and a trail of footmarks. We searched for her vain and since it was still dark, we waited for the day to break when we resumed the search and found her body buried in the garden,” he said.
