Linda "Tui" Tillery ... self taught singer, percussionist, producer, songwriter, and music arranger. At age 19 was the lead singer in the San Francisco group The Loading Zone on RCA Records and opened for Cream at Winterland in a floor-length ruffled red leather cape. Her debut solo album was released in 1970 on CBS Records and was entitled 'Sweet Linda Divine'. Linda is recognized as a pioneer in Women's music, with her second solo album on Olivia Records in 1977. In addition to performing, she was the producer on three Olivia albums. Tillery was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1997 for Best Musical Album for Children.

Tillery has also had a long career as a backing/supporting vocalist for mainstream artists such as Santana, Bobby McFerrin, Huey Lewis and the News and the Turtle Island String Quartet. In the early 1990s, she began exploring the roots music of enslaved Africans and the African diaspora, forming the group The Cultural Heritage Choir which remains active.

Tambre Bryant started a new project with a few awesome women ... A Tribute to Bay Area Women in Music. Back in 1985, the women in the San Francisco Bay Area started an organization called "BAWIM" Bay Area Women in Music, it eventually included men "BAMA" Bay Area Music Alliance. It was dissolved in the 90's. The last two President's were Sheila Rene and Tambre. Fast forward to 2021 ... she would like to give this concept a new life, therefore, she’s asking the Bay Area women that contributed and/or are contributing to the SF Bay music scene, and men that want to honor these contributions, to join us in creating the...
