Adrian from ROAM Overlanding’s YouTube video about our trip through the Cederberg and the Tankwa along with MH and Andy from Expedition Rove is now live on the Roam Overlanding channel!

I still need to work through my own video content of the trip, but I think Adrian did an excellent job of capturing the essence of the adventure 🫶

And it’s fun to compare the three different Alu-Cab: Ultimate Overland Products setups.

Alu-Cab has a new position available - MY POSITION! 👀

That's right, I am letting go of my role as Social Media Coordinator... and I am stoked to announce that I will now be taking on the position of Community Coordinator for !

What does this mean?

1. The Alu-Cab brand and presence on social media have now grown to the point where my current responsibilities need to be split in two so that our amazing community can get the love and attention they deserve.

2. I will now mainly be focusing on our ambassador and content creator programs, while also doing all in-house video creation. And of course, I will continue being a voice for the brand via the 'Jana from Alu-Cab' sub-brand.

3. We now need someone to take over the reins of managing our social media pages and to work their magic by distributing the content provided across all our social media platforms.

Our new Social Media Coordinator will work closely with me as Community Coordinator on content strategy and answering user questions. Although we will both operate online, our responsibilities, skill sets, and goals are different...

As Social Media Coordinator your focus will be on Alu-Cab's content and presentation while as Community Coordinator, I will be more focused on developing the brand's online and offline community.

I’m heading out of signal this weekend for some party-time with my family at in the Tankwa Karoo, and I honestly cannot wait. Working in Social Media requires a “constant on” mentality and my brain automatically tries to make everything content all the time 😅 Time to switch off and fully take in this weekend with the people I love the most! ✨

Some Jimny-action coming your way! Busy with the finishing touches of my next vlog (Part 2 of our time in the Tankwa) and it should be out within the next few days.

Can't believe this time last year we were getting ready to head off to Namibia with the 76 Land Cruiser. There's no big trip planned this year, but Simon and I will be hitting the road up north early tomorrow morning to explore some parts of the country we don't really get to spend much time in.

We'll be meeting up with family for an early Christmas get-together this weekend and then making our way down to Cape Town for Christmas and NYE on the coast with no real plan or bookings and I'm really excited about the idea of going where the wind blows us!

The Jimny is staying home and we're going with the Fortuner. The Jimny-build will commence early in the new year!
