HOME BY SUNDAY
[GIFTED] A big thank you to @homebysundayx for sharing these gorgeous stationary pieces from their country collection with me. I love a good notebook and these are so sweet! Not only are they super cute and perfect for all my cowgirl followers, but they have so many designs to choose from - they can even be customised / and the pages are wonderful and thick to write on (you know that's important if you're a bit of a stationary nerd!)
Use code LAURAOLIVIA for 10% off anything from their shop so you're set up for the new school year! 🌼

LONG LIVE 🎆
It's hard to put together a highlight reel of a show where every second was magical, but I've done my best! ✨

AKA. ANIMAL KINGDOM ALL-DAY 🦜
Shock horror, we switched it up. We always do water park followed by Magic Kingdom as our first couple of days at Disney, but this year, we skipped our tradition of heading for the castle and chose to spend the day taking in the chill vibes at Animal Kingdom instead - which turned out to be an excellent decision 🌳
Within the first few minutes of entering the park, we were already in tears watching the parrots flying out overhead (still not sure why, but there was some very emotive music so we'll blame that), and had signed up with Dug to become Wilderness Explorers 🧡
Megan decided we needed a theatre trip, so we watched Nemo get lost and found again; waved at Goofy from across the lake; chilled out in Africa for some lunch; watched some more birds showing off; and eventually made it all the way round to Pandora to take in the floating mountains of Mo'ara 🏔️
All-in-all, a pretty relaxing day acclimatising to the parks and the rapidly soaring temperatures, which turned out to be one of our favourites! Maybe we should mix it up more often 🌍

ONE NIGHT AT AT TIME 🖤🔥
Can y'all even believe Morgan Wallen played the O2 Arena 7 days ago? He hadn't even stepped on stage this time last week, and we got to witness his first ever appearance in London. Obviously he (and Larry Fleet and Bailey Zimmerman) absolutely killed it. It was such a phenomenal show and a fantastic way to round up my rather busy year of gigs 🖤
I'm ridiculously excited to see when MW makes it back over to the U.K. to tour again (you know me and the twinnies will be there, for more country a$$ sh!t from our fave!) You never know, he might even bring the mullet with him next time! 🤠
PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY 🎞️
Don't you love getting post? Especially when it's all your photos arriving back to add to your scrapbook. I ordered over 100 from Snapfish, and that's really only a handful of what I took from my time flying, but I love having them as physical items as much as a post here on Insta, so I can flip through whenever I want and remind myself of all the things I've done and places I've seen ❤️
WE GO WHERE WE WANNA GO 🗼
Dad decided he fancied another turn playing Upper Class passenger, and joined me on a rather speedy adventure over to Seattle and back! 🛫
He did manage to sneak his way into my cabin on both sectors, so he had the joy of watching me do my Safety demo up front, and plate up all the food for our passengers from my wee Galley kitchen 👩🏻🍳
Despite a delay on the ground, we managed to squeeze in an afternoon running around the city, dinner, and still be in bed by 10. And awake again at 3am. Sleepless in Seattle for real. Luckily managed a few more hours before we got up and back out to make the most of the trip - breakfast at Dahlia Bakery; a wander to see the Space Needle up close; a walk along the waterfront to Pike Place Market; and of course, a coffee at the world's first Starbucks ☕️
It's always a nice treat to get to have someone along with you for a flight, and even though it was short, Dad and I still had a great time! A huge thank you to our amazing crew for looking after him too, whilst I was hidden away organising my carts - even if you had to drag him away from taking pictures out the windows to get an answer from him 📸
BAJAN BEAUTY 🇧🇧
It's been a very hot minute since I was in Barbados, and it was an incredible couple of days back on island time 🏝️
Of course the sunshine is perfect for just relaxing by the pool or on the beach, but if you've never been to Barbs before, I'd highly recommend:
🌿 Sage, Baby Doll, and Blush for beautiful brunches, with gorgeous views and photo-worthy aesthetics
🌅 getting up and heading to the beach for the most amazing sunrises you've ever seen
🐎 going to watch the racehorses being washed in the sea on Pebble Beach first thing in the morning - you can even get to paddle with them if you ask the handlers nicely!
🐢 wander along the shore and keep your eyes open for the turtles in the wake: you can spot their heads popping up if you pay attention
🐠 check out some of the local spots for surfing or try other water sports, like diving or paddle boarding
It truly is a stunning island in the Caribbean, and if you get the chance to visit and soak in the tropical paradise for a while, get a ticket and go! 🌴
It's trips like this, with crews like these, that make our job so magical, and this will be another one that'll stick with me forever! ❤️
CALL OF THE WILD 🐆
A few days off from work meant finally taking advantage of staff travel myself, and getting to bring Mum along with me the trip! It was such a treat and we were so lucky to be able to get into the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse for some bubbles before our flight - I'd never even stepped foot in there before, and was completely amazed by the whole experience 🥂
On the plane, we made ourselves comfy in Upper Class, and managed to fit in drinks, dinner, a movie, a sleep, and breakfast between taking off and landing in Johannesburg 🇿🇦
We were picked up from the hotel by Eric from Leopardsong Game Lodge within an hour of arriving, and driven out to the Dinokeng Game Reserve for our overnight safari. In a weird coincidence, Mum and I ended up staying in the same lodge that I had when I took Megan away with me last April, and got to join Ingrid again for our game drive where we spotted zebra, drove into the middle of an elephant herd, and watched the sunset from our truck 🌅
We went to bed absolutely knackered that night, after squeezing so much in, and still had so much more to do before we boarded the plane again! 🌍
