One of our goals for the Wild Rift Regional Android Alpha is to gather data and feedback from a small group of players in a couple of regions before entering larger rounds of testing across the world. We think it’s critical to take in early feedback from players to make Wild Rift the best possible game it can be at launch, and beyond.

Last weekend, we saw that many players found a way into the alpha without a direct invite, by installing a version of Wild Rift onto their phones through third party sites.

To be blunt: our servers and processes aren’t quite ready to handle this many of you just yet, and we can’t host a whole lot of new players at the cost of stability. Because of this, in the coming hours, we’ll be disabling all accounts that didn’t gain access directly through a Google Play Store invite. This shouldn’t affect any eligibility for future test waves.

The good news is that getting our testing back on track means we’ll soon be able to roll out larger waves of invites to eligible players in Brazil and the Philippines, and we promise to keep you updated when future tests are available in more regions.

Thanks for your patience and your feedback so far, we truly appreciate your time and energy, and we hope to see you on the Rift soon!

JUST IN: An APK and OBB file for League of Legends: Wild Rift which is still in its alpha phase has been leaked!

Hundreds of people were able to bypass the google playstore and run the game on their mobile phones. Some said they were able to login and play the game, They even showed screenshots and video clips to prove it while some people got an error message saying "Your account has not been whitelisted. Login failed.".

One of the people who were able to play using the leaked APK file said that maybe RIOT has whitelisted a lot of emails already but just haven't send an invite to them yet.

The League community has mixed reactions towards this, Some players felt excited and happy while some are against people doing this and said that this is a huge disgrace for us PH League players, This just shows how undisciplined we are. There is a reason why the game is not yet allowed for the public to download yet.

Using the leaked apk is totally up to you but Riot Games and some Riot Partners aren't advising it as it could put your personal information/accounts at risk cause it might contain malware or you might get banned from accessing the game in the future. Let's respect the process and just wait for our invites.

The SMITE spell in League of Legends: Wild Rift can be upgraded to either "Challenging Smite" Or "Chilling Smite" after killing four (4) groups of large monsters in the jungle.

Challenging Smite lowers down your opponent's damage and increases yours, while Chilling Smite slows down your opponent.
